i just got a call from this number.  i did not recognize the number, so, did answer. I then, immediately, received a text msg saying they "resolved the issue", and to call yet another toll free # if I have any further questions.  I Googled the number that called me, and I believe it is StraightTalk.  I was trying to resolve a phone issue with StraightTalk all week, and am guessing that it is finally taken care of.

Not only was the voice heavily accented, but it sounded very mechanical as if machine generated and was at such a low volume that there was no way of understanding it even though I listened carefully multiple times with the volume maxed out.

It is valid call from Tracfone.

this is a valid number.  As in a previous comment, this was a call about cell phone service. I was on the line with SafeLink and got disconnected. The representative called me back from this number.  LOL  Maybe all of these cell companies are the same people.  LOL

it was a call regarding a page plus prepaid phone we were adding to our account. from the other messages, it sounds like it's a service the prepaid phones use to set up their accounts.

This is Tracfone, they hung up with me on the cellphone and then called me from this number to the landline when I was porting a number over.

I called Simple mobile and they returned my call from this number to trouble shoot my cell phone .same person michella i called was calling me from this number. Was not too helpful..spoke fast english had accent..heard her speak in background in another language..maybe tagalog sounded asian..definitely not spanish..simple mobile uses tracphone and tmobile internet settings

Put your known contacts in a "white list" and everything else goes to voice-mail. No message? Then you're done! Strange or does-not-apply message? Then you're done!
Don't bother with a "blocked list". Telemarketers and nuisance calls always come from new numbers.

Called twice n left a message that was barely audible

Man called could not understand a word he was saying...he left message on voice mail...did not call back

Not straight talk I just received a call from the same number.

got 3 calls in a row.  Did not answer.  Left 3 messages, and i could not understand any of them.

Caller left no message. Text of service rendered did not have any carrier ID, but did contain a different call back number with a pin to reference.  Unknown, and will not risk returning call.

After calling Tracfone for SERVICE, which I have not received in over a month, I received a call from 800-353-1842.  I can't understand a word they say--either of them.  STOP CALLING ME!!  I am sick of getting calls from foreigners who can't speak English and never do what they say they will do.  Tracfone has turned into a scam, and this number is just part of it.  I am losing three years of prepaid service and over a thousand minutes.  I HATE THEM FOR THIS.  What a bunch of crooks they have turned into.

Got three calls so far that I have declined. I don't have st and have not requested a number transfer. Stop calling me!

They tried to say they were from tracfone or net 10 but i could hear people laughing in the background....believe it came from cloned phone

Safe-link. I called to recert. They switch me too several "departments"..I gave up and hung up. THEY CALLED BACK. I told them to bite me. I don't need it that bad.
