Report a phone call from 800-355-0123 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- JohnI am a wounded warrior from Iraq and lost my leg among other things. My Father called and said that he got a similar call from these people claiming to be an attorney and said that I left his number as a contact number. As an Active duty wounded sooldier I do not need to talk to these people and I hope that they contact me because I'll through the book at them.
Thanks for the good advice above.- Caller: ATTY L HECKER
- HelpI received a call at work today and the man on the other end of the phone immediately said he was calling from an attorney's office and he needed the name and phone number of my attorney or he was going to contact my employer. I have had credit problems the last several years so I suspected it was a collection agency. I told the man I could not talk at work and asked for his phone number so I could call him back. Again, he said he needed the name and phone number of my attorney or he was going to contact my employer. And once again, I told him I could not talk at work and asked for his phone number. Finally, he gave his name as Tim Marino and the phone # as 1-800-355-0123 and a file reference #. When I got home, I did a reverse look-up of the number and found this website. Can anyone tell me how to get this guy to stop calling me at work? Am I correct that under Fair Debt Collection, collection agencies are not permitted to discuss your personal information with anyone?
- susanThey called my business looking for a man to whom I dont know, nor ever heard of. I told them they had the wrong number and explained to them that they were calling a business and not a residence, and then passed me to 4 different people again me explaining to all of them the situation, and they all had very rude comments to make to me, I said wait a minute your the ones with the wrong number, they said "tough [***] and I hope you enjoy your phone calls we wont stop if you dont give us the information we want. " Then he hung up on me......

- Jim PerkinsThe simple fact that you guys would entertain these a**holes by the extreme length of these postings is sad. If you get upset, they win. If you get upset, you lose...
Understand that if they had any legal way to come after you they wouldn't need to be mean, take solice in the fact that their behavior is all the evidence you need for the peace of mind that you truely have nothing to worry about.
They are commissioned telemarketers who get to keep half of what you pay them, if you don't pay them they don't make any money. See you would be just as upset if your paycheck was determined in this way.
Tell them that the person they are trying to contact has just died and start crying. Tell them you want to pay it full right now and give them a fake credit card or bank account number repeatedly. Mess with them they way they mess with you!!! Take money from them!!! Time on the phone threatening people is money so the longer you get them to waste time on you the less money they can make!!! Turn the tables on them and they will never call you again, they only call if they know they are getting to you and that you are vulnerable to make their paycheck larger.- Caller: Fake Attorney Lauren Hecker
- Unhappy DebtorFind out how the law offices of Lawrence S. Hecker turned my nearly $4500 debt into a cash explosion of a quarter of a million dollars!!!

My only regret is now I no debt so they won't be calling me for more money...
Please feel free to make money as I did!!!- Caller: Some Rude Beotch from L. Hecker
- KelliThese are the RUDEST people!!! I got a call on my cell with a message stating to contact them about "a very serious legal matter" so, of course, I called back. The first guy I talked to was Steve Perry - he was nice enough but couldn't tell me what the charges were even for. Then a Brian Knight came on the phone - he didn't know either and just became increasingly rude as I asked for more information. He basically called me a liar and said he would "file the paperwork" on this (implying a lawsuit). This is from 1999 so it's going on 10 years old now - I'm not giving them a thing. I'm sure my cell will ring off the hook now but that's the beauty of not having to answer.

- CMI keep receiving 'URGENT" messages from a Steve Peterson claiming to be from the Heckert firm at my home phone number for a party I don't know! I have had this phone number for about 14 years so the error is Mr. Petersons!
I called the 800-355-0123 number a couple of months ago and explained to the woman who answered that the firm is calling the wrong number!!!
I just left another voicemail message for Mr. Peterson to tell him that he is doing an injustice to the woman he keeps trying to reach and that he owes it to her to track down the correct information to reach her so she can respond to his calls.
The case ref. quoted by Mr. Peterson is 14-44466.
There is no good reason why, after I have already spoken to a person at the Heckert firm and they annotated the phone number discrepancy, that I should again be receiving these calls. I do not appreciate receiving these disruptive messages at my family home, and insist that the case records be corrected to REMOVE our phone number!!!
The fact that the firm has not corrected the records shows gross irresponsiblity towards the intended recipient of these calls. At this point, I am distressed at wondering what the consequences will be for this poor woman that should be getting these calls because she cannot possibly return them! Whatever her problem, she should not be be penalized for the neglegence of the Heckert Firm!!!!! - ClayThank you for all your comments I recieved a call from a Mr Mason yesterday on my machine I'm supposed to call it back I sure as Hell wont now after reading all this hehe I just LOVE the internet helps to protect us all from crap like this!

- sharonI tried to call Laurence Hecker to let them know that the repeat collection notices they were sending to my house were for someone who hasnt lived at this address for 8 or 9 years, they tried to tell me that since I had the letter from them in my possession I had now assumed responsibility for the debt!He was extremely rude, told me I had "committed a federal offense" by opening mail not addressed to me,even though I have tried the return to sender approach many times with no results,so I opened it to get a phone number. What a jerk!
- LDon't fall victim to their scam. I received a call from them a long time ago. They called once and were completely rude. I told them I would only deal with them by mail. Never received anything. A few months pass and they call again, this time leaving a short but concerning message.
They're calling regarding bad debt that is no longer even on my credit report, but has not been for at least 3 years. They're definitely bottom feeders buying old notes and using harassment and scare tactics to rob unsuspecting people of their money.- Caller: Attorney Heckers
- sickofcallsWell to begin with i screen all calls. After investigating the message I just received an hour ago I realize that they have been calling all the time without leaving messages. My caller ID displayed the NJ 800 355 0123 and various NJ cell numbers which I never answered ;). This time the caller id did not display a number, and they decided to leave a message. It was from a Mike with a reference# and he stated that he is trying to make a "recommendation" on my case. I also believe they are harassing my sister. Guess I will continue to not answer my phone. Good luck bottom feeders!
- sickofcallsForgot to add Mike was calling from the office of Attorney Laurence Hecker. If you google him and the number all kinds of bad reports show up. Any more advice this would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

- RajRecieved a call from this company from some guy claiming to be a legal asst, and telling me that hsi firm Paulman and associates, have been retained for a lawsuit against me regarding a debt from 1995 (12 years) which apparently has been unpaid, when I informed him that I am not aware of any debt, nor do I acknowledge any debt, and mentioned the statute of limitations, the guy started being nasty and calling me insane. At which point, I asked to shove it, and hung up the phone. Looks like these guys have ahistory of harassment, and stupid attempts at trying to collect on non-existent debt. BTW, my credit report does not list any such account as claimed by these guys.
- W.K.I had the same problem with a collection agency from Boston, Ma. when I lived back east and the debt was not valid. After fighting with this guy for several months I did some research flew to Boston and found out all about this co. and this worker. I found out that they all went to this bar after work on Fridays and wouldn't you know there he was with all of his cronies have some drinks. Well when I sent over a round of drinks to there table big tough guy came over to thank me and I punched that SOB directly in the head and walked out got a cab and flew home. All I told him was hope you'll think twice before harrassing the wrong people.
- NappingWe have been receiving calls for someone who has given them our home address and our home telephone number. I think this is his smart-alec way of getting back at them. The woman I talked to sounded very stressed but she was really sweet and has turned to trying to track him down. She said they will remove our info from their list. If they don't I'll just change my number.
- Ms. DuncanFor the past month I have received about 3 phone calls. The calls were from Attorney Landis and Attorney L. Hecker. My caller ID said Attorney Hecker, but the voicemail that was left told me to ask for Paul Mann. When I called, I asked for Paul Mann but got Paul's legal assistant (as he called himself), Laurence Hecker. Now I'm really confused because I thought Laurence was the attorney. He was calling about my sister. He said that they have been sending letters to my sister's address (which was about 5 years old) but she never responded. Hecker told me it was about some credit card trouble. I gave him my sister's phone number so they can stop calling me. My sister told me that this was a scam because they have also contacted her friend and harassing her too.
I also received a call from Attorney Landis. I was told that my sister had a pending lawsuit against her and would soon take action if she did not contact them. I did not give them her number but left their contact info with my sister.
Hopefully, that will be the last I hear from either of them.- Caller: Attorneys Hecker & Landis
- disgustedGot a call from a Linda Bailey a few minutes ago from this Hecker Law Firm. I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. I listened to the message. She asked for John. There is no John living here. She gave me a reference number and said that "time is limited" and that I should call back at the 800 number listed above. Since they never say what the debt is about, it is probably some sort of scam trying to get money or personal information out of innocent people.
- DanielThis is a Collection Agency and apparently they are trying to claim a debt that I owed from 14 years ago, that is illegal.
- paulThey are rude, and have called for some guy named Anthony who does not even live, nor do I know who he is.
