i receive calls from them everyday and VERY RUDE MESSAGES! they leave messages for someone with my last name... no relation! so to all of you who get this or they are calling you family or inlaws etc i plan to call them back and get as much info about this "so call law issue" and then report them for giving me somelses info! i have repeatedly told them they have the wrong # but everyday when i get home from work there is a nasty message from them.. i did try to call tonite got some girl who would not give me her name, put ME on hold Twice!! then i hung up.. ALWAYS get a name and if you cann't actually talk to ATTY Hecker  than never send them money and anyone who would hire these people thinking that rudeness is intimidatedy doesn't deserve to get paid either. Fake names... what kindof buisness is it and is it REAL or someone who hacked into accounts! think about it!!

Please seek legal advise if you are contacted by this attorney. The first time they called the called my place of work without sending any letters or attempting to call me at home. I returned their call and they were nice at first. It was a legit debt I owed for $423 on a four year old credit card. I setup a payment plan but I didn't have a checking account or a credit card to use and they don't accept money orders. I told them I would call them back with a prepaid credit card number. Once off the phone I put his name into the Google search engine. He is listed for fraud all over the place. Forums are on fire with people who have been ripped off by this guy. I called them back and called them out on all of the internet claims. They hung up on me four times before I spoke to someone who claimed they were having trouble with their phone systems. Apparently there are only three people who work at this so called firm as I couldn't seem to be able to speak to anyone else. The only excuse the guy had for all the internet gossip was 'well why did you call back if you think we are fraud?'. That was his exact words. They are very unprofessional and are probably working out of one of their parent's basements. Do not talk to these people. Do not give them a credit card number or a checking account number. It is these kind of people that give all debt collectors a bad name. They have had a class action lawsuit filed against them before for fraud and the lawyer himself has had his license suspended for 6 months. Avoid these guys at all cost!

Uneducated, shady operation.  They were trying to collect on a debt that I settled with a company ten years ago.  Are system is very disfunctional to say the least.  Not to mention the fact that it is full of people who have little or no education, obvious lack of family upbringing and have never worked a day in there life.  I am tired of these organizations empty threats towards good people who had a tough situation get even tougher.  Never forget to believe in yourself and strive to be happy no matter what, it will work out.  As for Heckler and his bunch of half ass staff, you are weak, pathetic leeches.

They are some real butts.  It would be nice if someone could do something about these people instead of us writing sh it about them.  Someone do something.

I received a call from a Sara James from Attorney Hecker's office a few weeks ago. When they requested I confirm who I was using my name from a previuos marriage I asked to whom I was speaking with, to which they said Sara James at blah blah... I asked the reason for calling, but was told they couldn't tell me unless I confirmed who I was. I continued to ask what the matter was until she finally hung up on me. This EVENING (not day time attorney hours) I let an unknown caller go unanswered. The voicemail said that it was Sara James from Attorney Hecker's office and that she never completed her call with me because I had hung up on her and that if I did not contact them back they would have have no choice other than to mark the case a "refusal".
It all seemed suspicious to me, thank goodness for google!

Ok ok...so sometimes it's a wrong #...and sometimes it's not. I used to work there, I wasn't cut out for that type of job. But seriously, not all of them are evil, and (in most cases), the problem begins when u don't pay your bills. Instead of chatting online and talking about people horribly, why not just pay your bills? I am by no way condoning anyone being disrespected, but seriously! Get a job. Pay your bills

I look at my caller ID. Thank goodness for anywho.com reverse telephone number lookup. It shows Hecker Law Firm in New Jersey. They keep calling my number regarding a supposed debt that is owed. They never tell you what it is about.
They do give you a reference number and say to call back at their 800 number.

All those who are bothered by these people should either ignore them, because we have never received anything in writing, or send them a certified, return receipt requested letter, stating that if they have anything in writing from the people they are trying to get money out of, or a signed contract acknowledging some sort of debt, they can just go jump in the mucky water they are swimming in.

Donald Burak pleads guilty to having child porn

TRENTON -- In pleading guilty to a single charge of possessing child pornography, an attorney who lives in Ewing admitted in federal court Wednesday that he kept on his computer hundreds of sexually-explicit and violence-laced photos of children, U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Christie announced.

Donald Burak, 49, of the 100 block of Tulip Lane, entered his guilty plea before U.S. District Judge Mary L. Cooper, and remains free on a $100,000 bond until he is sentenced on July 24, according to Christie.

Among the conditions of his bail, Burak is not allowed to have contact with children unless another adult is present and he is not allowed access to the internet at home and is only allowed internet access at work if he is supervised, according to a court document dated March 5.

In court Wednesday, Christie said, Burak admitted that when authorities seized his computer on June 14, 2007, it contained child pornography that he had downloaded from the internet.

"The computer contained more than 600 images of minors under the age of 12 engaging in sexually explicit conduct and that certain images contained depictions of sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence involving children," Christie said in a news release.

The charge to which Burak pleaded guilty carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

These jerks have called my home - unlisted number, for someone else who has not had this number for almost 6 YEARS now.  They are obnoxious to say the least.  I finally talked to one of their representatives this morning and explained I was not the person they were looking for.  He became very rude!  Ok, I've been through this before.  I asked for the company's name and address.  It is:  Laurence Heckler, 2C South Gold Dr., Hamilton, NJ.  08691.  I then told them they would receive a "drop Dead" letter.  This means they have to provide proof I OWED the debt of which I do not.  I'll send it certified, signature required.  Once I receive the signature card back, I can then file (sue) in Federal Court for fraud, and violation of the Federal Fair Trade act.  EACH time they contact me after I receive the signature signed card is a $1000.00 fine to be paid to me, plus attorney's fees.  They cannot continue to pursue anyone once the debt has been disputed.  A word to the wise is sufficient!

I recieved a half automated message on my voice mail and tried to contact this caller with the number 1 800-355-0123. An operator answered the phone and wanted me to give her my name number and address. I asked her what company she worked for and she refused to give me the name of her employer. She then transfered me to someone named Bert who then asked me for the same information as the operator. I repeated asked him what the name of his company was and he refused to give me any name. I asked him whats the nature of his business and he replied "we do several things". Finally after 5 minutes of questions NOT being answered he finally said he works for Law Office of Laurence A. Hecker. THIS IS WHERE I STARTED THINKING. Any attorney trying to contact you, already should have this information. In any case, these people are a collection agency trying to collect an outstanding debt that you owed from a Credit Card company. These people unprofessional and DO NOT know how to conduct business.

These fools just called my Mother this morning threatening her about an old debt that was actually MINE and has long since been adjudicated through a bankruptcy. They threatened my Mom and called her a liar among other things. She called me extremely upset. At first I just thought it was an error regarding the old account since it went through bankruptcy. So I got on the Internet to try and find a direct number to Lawrence Hecker. LO and BEHOLD I find THOUSANDS of complaints against this idiot! Then it hits me that my parents have just been scammed! Both my parents were upset and very shaken. Then are over 75 years old and don't deserve to be treated like this. Worst of all? They contacted my Mom on her CELL phone! What happened to cell phone numbers NOT being on telemarketing lists???? I DO NOT BE FOOLED PEOPLE! NEVER give ANYONE any information about yourself and NEVER verify what they tell you. Ask for THEIR phone number and call THEM back, THEN tell them they need to send you something in writing PROVING you owe the debt. When you get a letter from them put it in an envelope addressed back to them and send it with a huge CEASE and DESIST written on the letter AND the envelope. Make a copy of both of them for your records and then send the letter as RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED.
Stay aware of this company and its fraudulent practices!

This company apparently has started using automated calling machines. We have received 2 messages saying "This is not a sales call. It is important that <name> return our call at 800-355-0123."

It does not mention the name of the company or the reason for the call. REMEMBER: Whenever you call ANY 800# they get automatic access to the number you used to call them - and will likely use that info to harrass you.

Read the other advice posted here about your rights. DO NOT let these a*#holes imtimitate you. Know your legal rights and use them. This type of people are the scum of the earth and deserve zero success.

Check to see if your phone company has a feature to block calls from particular numbers. Our Comcast phone service does.

To all of you who have been harassed by Larry Hecker and Donny Burak these guys are NOT attorneys nor are their associates. They have been disbarred they may not practice law in the United States.

These people are known felons mostly fraud, child porn, theft and assault; how do I know you may ask, I did my research via the names people have been posting for the past TWO YEARS! It is all out there for you on the internet.

I have been dealing with these criminals for 2 years, they have no clue as to who they have called.

I have attempted to have them remove my number off of their LIST to no avail, I have even suggested they cross reference the number yet I’m still receiving threatening calls for a Tony C. G…...t.

I strongly suggest that you call your district F.B.I office and put these criminals on someone’s radar.

Don’t give them an account number of any kind. Absolutely NEVER, EVER give them your Social Security Number.

Remember, you are dealing with criminals, at worst they can continue to call you, so hang up or tell them the check is in the mail (DON’T SEND THEM MONEY).

They are predators you are the prey.

They HAVE NO LEGAL GROUNDS to extort money from you THAT IS THE LAW.

I just wanted to say that you can add Eve Jones to the list of people that are calling from this company.  I have recevied quite a few very rude voicemails from this "law office" saying that they have to make a decision on my behalf. I told them that I did not hire them to represent me so they have to right to make any decision on my behalf.  One of my ex-boyrfiends opened up 10 different credit cards on my behalf 9 years ago.  Affidavits of forgery have been filed, yet this company still continues to call me (sometimes at 6am) to tell me that I have to pay off the debt.  I told them that if they want to continue conversations with me that they can do so via United State Postal Service.  At one point while I was talking to Eve Jones (mind you during the course of the conversation I became very flustered since she would not give me any information without me first giving her information and explaining to her that no matter what credit card she was talking about, it was included in the forgery affidavit since I have no credit cards as I have closed them all since the forgery incident and refuse to open another one, Mr. Wolf jumped on the line saying that he was monitoring the phone call.  I was not told that anyone was monitoring the phone call, but that is a moot point.  I explained the same thing to Mr. Wolf and explained that I would once again fax the affidavits of forgery to him on the 10 credit cards that were opened fraudulently.  Again, I said that if they wanted any further information from me, then they would have to contact me via U.S. mail.  I have since received three voicemails (within the last 36 hours) from the company.  All three were very rude saying that I needed to call them back immediately and "There could be sever repurcussions if I did not contact them immediately" and at the end of the quote referred to me a few times by my first name.  The U.S. Marshals and the Secret Service are currently investigating the fraudulent credit cards (apparently it happened to about 8 other people by the same guy) and when I told them about the calls, they said to report them to the S.E.C.  

I have now set my phone so that it remains silent when the phone number they call from displays on my phone.

I have had to deal with quite a few other collection companies during the course of trying to clear my credit and I have never dealt with anyone so rude in my life.  I understand you have a job to do (granted it may be in some garage so you can pay your parent's rent) but if you want to actually get somewhere with people, being polite can get you far.

This person just called my house and left a thearthing message for my son who has nothing to do with my house my phone or anything else. She idenified herself as Lynn Stein from the law offices of Tony Becker or Hecker. I donot appreciate these kind of calls and being left on my answering machine.

Just received a call from this number, it was automated, so I hung up.  I got curious and called the number back, a young lady answered with Lecher's office or Hecker's office or something like that.  She spoke so fast I couldn't make out what she said.  I NEVER gave them my name, I simply asked them to identify themselves.  They put me on hold, I hung up, and then Googled this number.  I will contacting my state's attorney general if they call back.

Called on my cell phone as I was preparing for a presentation.  I informed them that they should not be calling on my cell phone that they could reach me at my home number on Fridays, weekends, or evenings.  They threatened to call the County Sherrif.

just got a call from 609-570-3039..Atty L Hecker...so I called the office, asked them why they called me, they had me on caller id, said i was called in error and they hung up on me....why can't anyone do anything about these scam artists?   This guy is a crook from everything I've read..they do answer Hecker law offices, but I don't believe he's even allowed to practice law anymore....they call me again, or call my work, and I will report them to the Atty General's office in NJ..see how they like that.

today i recieved a call from antonio ondill or something to that effect about a credit card that i owe since 2001 and barely getting in touch now they said they will sue me and take everything away from me and i tried to get a payment started for novemeber but that wasn't good enough than i talked to a lady who was sweet as sugar telling me that i should resolve this matter at once i told her that i could no make a payment in october but november i can give her something she got mad when i told her that i was not going to ask people for money they said they had written to me twice and i havenot recieved any letters from this company
