it is been one week i'm getting a call from this number.and i will not answering the 800 calls and who is not in my memory phone.

2 weeks straight and counting.

This number keeps calling my landline and because my call display is broken I answer and say hello and no one responds... I hang up but they stay connected for about a minute, still no sound on other line.  I hate telemarketers, I hate that I have an unlisted number yet have to get these harrassing calls and I HATE ROGERS!  The only reason I use them is because they bought my ISP and Bell will not service my area as Rogers has a monopoly out this way!!!  I am fed up and believe I will look into Comcast or some other VOIP phone and ISP as they have way better rates any way!  TG I don't have my cell through Rogers as I can just imagine the calls I would get there!!

They keep waking up the cat during the day.  If this is really Rogers or one of their telemarketing agencies, I'm going to disconnect every single service I already have with them.

They have called 7 times in the last 3 days.  They are offering some sort of Blackberry discount for Rogers.   I told the rep on three occasions that I am not interested and I already have a Rogers cell phone from work.   Regardless, they keep calling, which tells me that they aren't updating their database.

I am now using a Soundboard at ebaumsworld.com whenever they call me to interact with the rep until they hang up.

They've called here as well.  I have a policy where both answering machine is turned off.  If the call is not identified fully as in name and number, I simply let it ring.  Family and friends know how to reach us so no answering machine is necessary.  After awhile of wasting their time for an answering machine they give up.  It's a very effective way of dealing with telemarketers :)

They've been calling me for about a week on and off but never leave a message, if you can't leave a message it's not important in my books

My senior father who is about to have surgery and has just battled through chemotherapy continually gets calls from this number, despite asking them not to call.  It's extremely disruptive to him.

My brother contacted them back via the number (pressing "1" to initiate contact) and thought he'd sorted things out.  The next day, another call!

I am furious and will be forwarding info to police as harassment, as they've been asked not to call and it's stressful for my father - he's usually asleep and has to get to the phone when he should be resting.

Unacceptable - canceling all Rogers services because of this harassment.

supposedly you can call 1888Rogers1 to be removed from the list - I talked to sales and they said they would remove me from their call list - we'll see...

I've noticed that this phone number appears on my phone after 5 p.m. and on weekends....I tried calling back once, but only got voicemail, and that's when I knew that it was just a marketing call...

This number 1-800-395-8813 (Rogers) has been bugging me continually several times a day -- I googled it, found this site, read the comments & have followed the instructions after calling the number & will see if it really is taken off the system within the next 24 hours.  I'll recomment if it isn't in a couple of days.  

Now onto the other one that is so disrupting.....604-596-1470.

Received 3 calls in 2 days at my business.  All went click and no voice.  I called the number and waded through the computer voice directions until I got placed on a do not call list.  Only took about 5 minutes.  Now we see if it worked.

asked these losers at Gemma to take my number off their list. Of course they didn't and the calls persisted. I just reported them to the CRTC and would advise others to do the same. I called Rogers to complain (and ask them to cancel my services) and had an interesting experience. The woman in the cancellation department first insisted that this was a telemarketing scam and Rogers was not responsible. I told her that I would report Gemma Marketing to Phone Busters then. Then she put me on hold, came back and told me that Rogers had indeed sold my personal information to Gemma, and that they had every right to do so because I did not implicitly order them not to. I was assured I will not get any more calls, but we shall see. Since they refuse to allow me to cancel my contract without a fee I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I also notified Telus Mobility as it is my Telus phone they are repeatedly harassing me on.

I installed a software based pbx (Trixbox) on an old computer, added the annoying Phone Numbers to the blaklist, and with my SPA3102, I am able to filter out the annoying calls.

Of course you could really mess with the telemarketers by answering with an automated "hello" and then put them on hold until they hang up.

The ATA can also forward calls to an other number without a computer, based on the caller ID number (up to 8 entries).

I got this call 3 time evreyday in the past 2 weeks, when I pick up the call. they hang up.....very annoying......

I got calls on Aug 19 (2:22 PM), AUG 20 (12:38 PM), Aug 21 (12:30 PM and 6:04 PM) and Aug 22 (1:48 PM). No messages left.

I have noticed that these calls from Rogers tend to spike whenever I either use my phone quite a lot for outgoing calls, receive lots of incoming calls, and either call or receive calls from friends/relatives out of town. Perhaps they're trying to get me on a plan with more minutes or sign up for long distance calling, but honestly my phone is used so little that there's no point!

I have gotten calls from that number 17 times between August 16 and today. Four of them came yesterday. I dialed the number back and went through the "Press 1 to remove your name..." nonsense to remove my number from their calling list.

Answered one of the calls and informed the woman to never call me again after she introduced herself as a rep from Rogers, and gave her a very stern rebuke. I reprimanded the rep for having the gall to harass me so often, asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me. I tried to complain to Rogers but after being on hold for more than 15 minutes at a time, I sent a strongly-worded e-mail to customer service demanding that my personal info NOT be passed to anybody, scolding them for having zero customer service and ripping them apart for hassling customers. Said I will not renew my contract either.

They call sometimes 3 times in an hour, at all hours of the day and night. I have answered to get nothing but a hang up or dead air. I have called it back to only get and recording that says "for english press 1, for french press 2". I have not gone further to press 1 or 2 affraid it is a scam. I need them to stop calling as I have a newborn that wakes up every time they call!!!
