    Annoyed
800-446-1022 has called five times within the past 2 weeks.  Never leaves a message.  Don't they know that people work???  Not everyone sits home all day waiting for telemarketers.  Today is a holidy, so I guess they figure we have nothing better to do.  I don't answer calls from unitentified numbers, and when "800 Services" shows up on Caller ID, it's always some recorded BS that never properly identifies itself.

If anyone reading this works for one of these telemarketer companies - why don't you first say WHO you are and WHY you are calling?  And leave a message so those who might be interested in what you are selling can call you back.

Calls at least once a day.  We do not answer Unknown Callers.  Never leaves message.  Apparently not important.  We are on DO NOT CALL list.  Why do they keep calling?  Leave a message if it's important, or DO NOT CALL!!!!

as far as the below goes, they now say it will take up to 60 DAYS to remove you...

    1. Call them back. Call them back at the same number: 1-800-446-1022. You will hear an automated voice offering you different options. When I called them, the option I wanted was option # 2. (Listen carefully as they may have changed things.) Option # 2 is suppose to remove you from their call list. The automated voice will warn you that it can take up to 30 days for this to take effect. This is automated... you will not talk to a live person.

Please Read! (I have a successful suggestion that actually works and stops the calls.) I started out with 3 to 6 calls a day. Went on-line and read several other people's suggestions on making the calls stop. I called HSBC did the option #2, re-registered on the Federal Do Not Call List, wrote HSBC letters and sent emails to stop them from calling. Spoke with their Management. Nothing helped! Now I was getting 14 to 16 calls a day after all of this. Finally, I signed up for Qwest Security Screen with call rejection (I have Qwest home phone service). You are able to program up to 15 phone numbers that tell the caller you are not accepting their call. THIS WORKS! I get no more calls from HSBC, or Recycle Now, and two other local telemarketing companies that I added to my list. If you have QWEST get this service it will stop the calls!

This number calls me several times a day.  Never leaves a message.  I do not answer the calls but is there any way I can get them to stop?  I am registered on the "Do Not Call" list.

been calling every day and when I finally answered the lady barely spoke English and when I interrupted her "script" and asked exactly what this was for if it was for account protection she promptly hung up on me. Wish they will stop!

I too get these calls and they are driving me nuts! BUT THERE IS PAYBACK!! Toll free numbers are billed just like long distance calls but its in reverse, the owner of the number pays the bill. A call center like this will pay around $0.02 per minute for these calls. So if you really want this to stop set your phone up for continuous redial and light up their phone 24 hours a day. This will cost them over $28 per day and you nothing. If enough calls come in from enough people before they see the phone bill this could cost them some serious money. I own a small telephone company and have 48 lines in my office that I am setting up to call at night HA HA gotcha!!!!

Call 800.446.1022 and one of the options is to remove you from their call list. They are tele-marketers and are VERY rude!!!

this is definitely HSBC, a high interest rate financial company.  Even secured cardholders are harassed!  I closed my account and asked for my deposit back and they are still holding onto it 3 months later.  I contacted the Chicago Credit Bureau who is now investigating it for that region (Salinas, CA) and although my deposit was finally sent back, they still are racking up monthly charges on me with the account closed and harassing me on this number.  What a racket!

Frustrating to say the least!  Never a message. If I owe money to someone, give the courtesy of saying who you are! 4-6 times a day-even on weekends!
