If your number is on the do-not-call registry, go to complaints.donotcall.gov and fill out a formal complaint against HSBC. If your number is NOT in the do-not-call, register it. Be mindful that you cannot file a complaint within 30 days after registering your number.

this HSBC, you can call the 800 number and listen to their selections and they have one that says "would you like to be put on our do not call list, follow their instructions. thats it folks

hey lets everyone start calling this number 800 446 1022 at 9pm eastern , 8 pm , 7 pm and 6 pm depending on what time zone your in and see what happens. can I get a whoa on that

Here's my take on it:  They have a "boiler" room or a bunch of home based telemarketers that get credit (get paid) for every call "they make".  They do not care if you answer, or not.  They still get paid.  It would be interesting to know if anybody ever talked to them and actually signed up for anything. Say this is the case, then HSBC is stupider than one might think.  There is something called "customer management resource" (CMR -- very expensive software) that is predicated on keeping customers because that cost of obtaining new customer is usually twice. This is negative CMR. I have seriously considered dumping my HSBC cards. Their Neg-CMR is starting to work on me.

Recieve at a minmimu of three calls per day.  No msgs or answer

Keep calling my home.  Never anyone on the line.  I am on the do not call list.   Found number belongs to HSBC Credit Card Company per this site for telemarketing sales.   Reporting calls to law enforcement.

repeated calls from this number throughout the day.  i don't answer, no message left.  best guess is telemarketing.

When I called I got an automated system that asked me to enter my account number, debit card number, or social security number.  I entered random numbers until the system got tired & hung up.  Get busy, call their number, and lets flood their system with useless calls.

This number has been calling me over the last several days. They call a few times a day. Its HSBC. I do not bank with the company and do not know or care why they are calling. I do not believe I even have a credit card with them.

They are required to remove you from their call list the day you request it. You can back up that request in writing or record the request on tape and use it for a $1,000 judgement PER CALL in court if you want.

These people now have a WEBSITE saying they are affiliated with the
DO NOT CALL REGISTRY...I looked up the number because "Elizabeth" called ...again
and so l called like I do every few months. Only the number didn't seem familiar while
I was dialing and what do you know, when the phone was answered (by automation)
I was told that... "Today, for calling the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY ...I won $100 cash, choice of Visa or MasterCard." . ...I hung up immediately. The REAL number is
1-888-382-1222.
Please Do Not Call the above 446-1022 toll free number. Especially from your cell.
These people are relentless. Stay careful and share the information. We'll all be ok
