Report a phone call from 800-544-9568 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- AmandaNicoleIve been getting calls from this number daily but leaves no messages ( It is so irritating! )I actually never can take the call, always busy. Now they have been calling in the evenings and weekends and I refuse to answer!...If it is so important to call that many times you can leave me a message.
- Bobcall 1-800-544-5568 back, listen to recorded message...wait... you will then get a message to add your phone number to the no call list, may take 72 hours ( so they say)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- RickFromOttawa replies to Wade AlexanderLOL!
- RickFromOttawaYup... I've confirmed what everyone has said. It's an outsourced telemarketer from out West. Just call that number back and press 1, and then enter your phone number on your touch tone phone. They'll stop calling after that due to CMA regulations.
- Caller: "Syke" or something-or-other
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Tammy replies to annnnoooyed! When the message is done, there will be a woman telling you to press 1 to be on the do no call list and to type in your ten digit cell/ phone number. It takes up to 72 hours. It is very annoying. They have been calling me non stop for the last week now.
- ABI've heard this number is associated with non-core TD services (insurance, etc.) as well as possibly Green Party of Canada donation solicitation (and doubtless hundreds if not thousands of other clients).
I recently did as others above suggested and pressed 1 to add my number to their DNC list.- Caller: no caller ID
- AnthonyI live in Vancouver B.C. The calls are from a telemarketing company called Sykes/Sikes and they ARE calling on behalf of TD Visa selling The "Visa Protection Plan". I called TD Visa and told them I didn't want any telemarketing calls from them or any other third party. They said, "no problem" and told me I would not be receiving anymore calls.
- Caller: SYKES/SIKES
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Secret replies to annnnoooyed!I received a call from the sykes corporation, calming that they were my bank. Do Not give them any information at all! I hung up, then called my personal banks customer care number. As I suspected my bank was not attempted to contact me at all. I then filed a complaint with the federal trade commission and was assured they will investigate.
IF You are contacted by the sykes corporation, please do not just sit there and take it. Please contact the Federal Trade Commission and report this matter. These snotty [***] think they are sooo damn slick. I Will not tolerate their abuse, and neither should you. The more people who file complaints against the sykes corporation with the FTC the quicker and easier it will be for the FTC to deal with these a**holes. Dont take your rights for granted. Stand up for them. Protect them.

Our rights are more valuable than the few minutes it takes to report this issue. - ChappieThis is a marketing company working in conjuction with TD Visa. The reason they have your cell number (you guessed it) is because TD Visa supplied it to them because YOU are a customer of theirs. I finally gave up and answered the insistant calling (at least twice a day) and got the sales pitch for the anti-identity theft thingy. For only $21.95 a month, you too can be protected and get a free credit report. Bull cookies.
- Caller: TD Visa
- Call type: Telemarketer
- karenthis number is calling my home # several times a day - when I pick up there is dead air; when I call back there is dead air - anyone know how to stop this??
- MishThis number has been calling for weeks now about 4-6 times a day! No joke. They never leave messages and I never picked up (until now) because I know 1800#s are telemarketers or a scam... I finally picked up to ASK TO GET TAKEN OFF THEIR CALL LIST and the women said "ok will do right away, thank you on behalf of TD VISA." I REALLY Don't think it was TD Visa. I don't think they harrass people the way they were. I'm getting sick of these damn numbers calling at all times a day! There's at least one other number harrassing us!!
Victoria BC- Caller: 800-544-9568
- TalThat number calls me about 8 times a day, starting at ridiculous hours in the morning and constantly through class. Finally called them back and got my number removed.
- Annoyed with dishonest peoplejust received a call from this number and they stated it was a courtesy call from TD bank, but the persons tone was very odd, so I just googled the number. When I called back I received a fax tone.
The person asked for us by name 8-0- Caller: Supposedly TD Bank Courtesy call
- michelleI finally started researching this mysterious number that kept calling me and I am so glad I found this message board. It is absolutely ridiculous the amount of calls I receive in a day from this number (800-544-9568) which today as of Jan 31/2011 stands at 15 in one day. I was in class all day and was amazed to see so many missed calls on my cell phone which I left at home coming from a 1-800 number. I have also noticed the increased number of attempted calls in a day starting at around 10 a.m. pacific standard time (I live in Vancouver) that has occured over the past month.
I finally called the number back to try to get specific information for the complaint I am going to file with the better business bureau but of course you end up listening to a pre-recorded message. They do give you an option to put your number on the do not call list which I did follow so we will see if these ongoing calls cease within 72 hours. I did record this message on a personal recorder so if it doesn't happen then at least I will have evidence against them for my lawyer if they continue to harrass me.
The thing that worries me is that reading some of these previous posts is showing evidence that there is a scam/identity theft going on using TD bank's products. If people at TD VISA have been contacted to let them know about this potential scam, how come there is no warning from TD VISA that I have seen? I mistrust people selling things to begin with and I do ask a lot of questions (for legal reasons) if I do talk to someone which is rare but unfortunately the majority of people do not know about the latest scam warnings. The RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) websites always list the 10 top scams so please check it out. There is also Olsen on your side at CTV.ca for a list of consumer complaints because unfortunately there are a lot more scammers than honoust people out there, especially when it comes to door to door or in this case cell phone attempted sales.
Cheers - BBMFinally answered it today. his is from Carlson Marketing partnering up with TD Visa to offer enhanced credit card service to existing TD Visa holder.
- Caller: Carlson Marketing
- Call type: Telemarketer
- wrisal replies to BrokerI called back this damn nuisance number and registered a complaint online.
When you call the number you get some business called Sykes They give you the option ot have you phone # removed from their list by pressing ! it is acknowledged to be removed. or added to the do not call list.(please be aware you may receive calls up to 72 hrs until the removal is completed)
Try this and see if it helps. - AnnoyedI called the 1-800 number back -- there was a one minute message about their "outsourcing services" and then if you didn't hang up there was a message giving instructions about how to add your number to their "do not call" list. You don't have to give them any more information than they already have so it seems safe enough to do this.
Is there anyone who is not annoyed by these calls? I will boycott any businesses who use this form of "advertisement"- Caller: Sikes
- Call type: Telemarketer
- LindaPlease stop calling me; you are bothering me, and I DO NOT like your calls.
- Volkov KonstantinCall every day!!!!
