I received a text from the # 1 800-559-9313 about some kind of game cheats master and that my phone would be charged a monthly fee of $19.99. I called the number and they wanted me to email mobilesupport@helpdeskconnect.com with more info for a refund. Does anyone know if the $19.99 is actually charged to your phone??? What can I do to keep charges from showing up on my account???

I called cingular after I received my text. I WAS charged the $19.99 for this game cheats thing. However, cingular took that off my account and put a block on my phone. What your phone bills and if you receive this text call your phone company immediatley and report it.

got a text on 7/24/08 saying welcome i subscribed to game cheat masters $19.99/month billed to cell and to txt help for info and they left a # 1 800 559 9313. when i replyed with help they automatically subscribed me than I stopped it.

These charges do appear on your cell phone bill. I had two charges each at $9.99 apiece.  I called T-mobile last night and they acted like they did not know much about it. However, the rep agreed to remove the charges. He also gave me the 1-800 number, which as you all know is ridiculous.  This is a scam and I am looking to remedy this via litigation. It is clear that the company believes that most people will not scrutinize their cell phone bill, unless of course it is an outrageous amount of money.  At first, when I saw my bill this month, which totaled only $20 over what I normally pay, I assumed I went over my plan minutes, not that I was spammed via a text messaging service. Got several of these charges on company cell phone

In my opinion, this is a fraudulent practice and consumers are once again on the defensive.  THis happened to me the other day when I received my T-Mobile bill.  I had 2 charges for $9.99 each for "Personal Services" which I never contracted for, etc.  In fact, I do not have a text message plan on my phone. All you have to do is text them & say cancel stop don't want then they send you a message saying you have been opted out of the campaign. Good luck I hope it works.

i was charged 19.99 for a cheat game text message on my cell phone that i did not even order. something need to be done about this.

I just called Verizon because my son had a $39.97 charge for 3 premium text messages. Verizon told me he had this service for a while and we must have not caught it. He actually had two different kinds of these things on his phone. Verizon gave me this phone number to call. I called it and it said to email mobilesupport@helpdeskconnect.com. I sent a message to that email account. I got an automated response back saying to text STOP to the short code 23907. We did this and it said thank you for opting out of this system. So you may try that. We will look at next months bill to make sure there are not anymore of these charges. These companies should be put out of business!

my son got loged on to multiple codes.com and i did not authorised for him to give my number so i would like to cancel any charges. My email address is jessicaaviles@ymail.com and my cell phone number is 915-494-4350. It give my son a password of 405 I would like all the charges to drop.
