    I have been getting these for the past 2 weeks..allways when i am at work on my pers BBerry.  I do not answer.  Yes I have a Home depot card and I am wondering if because my 1 year no interest deal was about to expire, they started their harrassment technique on me.  Well Home depot can Kiss MY (_i_)..I just paid the [***] off using my LOC.....said ph # will remain on ignore.

    Agreed with previous poster:  Companies/Businesses must ID themselves using a Call display type of action..regardless if you the recipient has call display or not.  should be some sort of force display..being an Albertan and not fond of governement interference in my life, this is one law I would wohle heartedly support.

    ok...I know that this number is regarding Home Depot...and I know that we are late with our payment...and for those judgemental ppl...we have a good reason....anyway....I answered the call and the guy on the other end who was certainly NOT Canadian...asked to speak with my husband...my hubby is working...I told him I was on the account too and he could talk to me...he said he was not allowed...I told him that I have always talked to them because I am on the account ...he said he was not allowed to talk to me and had to talk to my hubby...HE REFUSED TO TALK TO ME....he said they would call back when my husband was home...good luck with that...I don't know when he will be home as he is a trucker....they talk to me or they talk to no one..... the last person I talked to was awesome...but this guy?... what a jerk!

    Fact is that more than half the time it IS their fault.  
    I see tons of issues with payments made and misplaced on their end, and also hassling people for minimum payments on deferred purchases where minimum payments are not required.
    There is no simple solution, since these clowns are useless at what they do.

    You should talk to them, and get to the bottom of that.  It sounds like identity theft.  Some douche could have opened an account in your name.....it happens.

    I get on average this number calling me twice a day and sometimes more. The number is showing 1-800-634-7099 but no name. I answer after saying hello. I tell them keep it up and I am calling the police. Is it a scam of some sort?

    I too have seen their number many times on call display...I just called them back...it is Home Depot credit card collections....I was late on a payment and it is legitimate...they use an automated dialler which can often hang up on you....when the call is answered the dialler does a voice analysis to determine if it is a live person or an answering machine - it person passes call to agent...if machine recycles the call to a later time...I reviewed the number of times they call per day and they are within the legal guidelines which is 4 attempts per day...If you do call them back you will be expected to authenticate who you are (name/add/dob) before they release any info...this is a GOOD thing as they are a major financial corporation and have to protect their customers informaiton...I know there are alot of scams out there and they are usually easy to spot but this is not one of them...If you want the call to stop make the minimum payment due on your Home Depo Card!

    I get we all owe Home Depot if we are getting this call, but if you have paid whats owed and its not the next billing period why keep calling and hang up before the last ring and not leave a message right? Their automated system obviously needs some tweaking.

    I don't have aything from Home Depot, no card no accounts of any kind. I had them calling my cell phone, not even a number I give to anyone but personal and family business. It rang twice and stopped before answering, a few times in an hour.

    How is it home depot when we don't have a card for them???? Calls 3-4x a day, no one says anything and never leaves a message. If it is a creditor and you are behind on your payments they will leave a message.this is b.s.

    It's bad enough they call and wake my baby up but when I tell them it's too early to call they tell me and I quote" well it's business hours so" and then I tell them the bill has been paid so please stop calling and they say that they haven't received any info on that so they r going to continue calling. So rude, not the best way to run a business, Home Depot should be ashamed!

    I think I'm going to start telling them they have the wrong number an see if they stop calling, it doesn't matter if you pay every month if it's not on the day they expect it then you should be expecting none stop calls everyday even if you did pay them and your short .50 cents they will call nonstop and harass you up to 7 times a day extremely frustrating I have never had a company be so harassing especially when you pay your dues every month should it really matter if it was a day or two late or a dollar or two short? F-ing ridiculous!! Sometimes I wish I could reach through my phone and smack a B****!!!

    Calling every 3 hours & hangs up when I try to get more info or request removal from call list! This is harassment as they call every day!
    One agent admitted they are "Citicards", I asked if they are part of. Itifinancial & she was noncommittal.
    I'm guessing they want to rope us into something but they won't speak to me about it!
