I stupidly opened an e-mail purporting to be from Google saying that I 4 lost e-mails waiting for me. It opened to a webpage telling me to call Microsoft-866 625 5568 to have a tech fix it, and not to restart my computer. The webpage warned of a Trojan. I did restart (it's a Surface 2 tablet) and ran a full, 2 hour Windows Defender scan, which came up with the Trojan. I had Defender delete it. The number given to me does not show up on
Google, but the 642 7676 number is what is listed under system in the Control Panel. I suspect they commandeered (faked) that number for scam purposes. I will run another full scan to make sure the Tablet is clean.

No message came in, first time call for me

Call saying they were from Microsoft and I needed to open my computer due to error messages told the guy that I did not have a computer and he ask me you live in the United States and don’t have a computer. I said yes and he ask how I fed my family if I could not afford a computer I told him I had money but no computer. He said do you want me to give you some money so you can buy a computer.  You need a computer to feed your family and live in the United States.  This continued for several minutes him asking me how I fed my family with no money to buy a computer.  I finally got tired of the bs and told him he was stupid and hung up.  I don have a computer and knew it was a scam so played hard games with him

Received a call from this number.  Didn't answer, but they left a voice mail.  When I listened to voice mail, could hear a lot of pounding in the back ground and a message that was inaudible.  Some unidentified language

Mostly in pm with a couple in evening as late as 8pm .I won't pickup until I purchase  the shtillest whistle I can find.

Caller..Max says he mucrosoft security tech and recent activity in my computer has been hacked ..need to pay them to remive virus....told them good trick....I know they use cover number and there is no problem with computer or internt since I do not have it.....

Microsoft NOT!  This is NOT Microsoft.  I NEVER define a call as SCAM unless I know for sure, however, I believe this to be both SPAM and SCAM.  Buyer Beware.

caller Id says they are Booker T Washington Middle School. They asked me if I was the primary user on my computer, I said no and they hung up.  This was yesterday and today they have called 3 times.

Fake Microsoft

Someone has ben calling us from this number and not leaving messages.

This person keeps calling me and does speak up but he knows nothing about my computer and claims he does. The last time he called I stopped him as he was beginning to speak and told him that I knew he was a scam and never to call me again. We will see.
