This is a scam, this number shows up on bank statement.  In a nutt shell I recently baught something online and while being offered a $10.00 Rebate the company i baught from gave my credit card/bank account info to someone who signs me up for something I know nothing about.

This too, happened to me... via a purchase to Carol Wright Gifts. I really hope that Carol Wright knows nothing about this, because it makes them look really bad. I won't be ordering from there again!

I called the number and they are issuing a credit for the recurring $10 impounds to my card. The woman was clearly familiar with these calls and knew how to get the credit issued. Unfortunately, it didn't make her any nicer to deal with.

Shopper Discounts should be ashamed of themselves!

I guess it took me longer to find the charge to my credit charge.  But they are truly a bunch of crooks.  Apparently they got my credit number from a web site that I bought something.  Do not try to get discounts!!!!!!!!

I called my bank to file a claim against this company. I had to cancel my debit card and have a new one issued - a total pain in the butt. My bank informed me who it was and gave me their phone number. I called this phony company. This older woman with a saccharine sweet voice answered and reversed the charges. She also informed me that this was related to a purchase with Art.com. I haven't bought anything from Art.com in over a year, so why they just tagged me with this is beyond me! My advise - DO NOT SHOP WITH ANYONE WHO HAS THIS PHONY COMPANY PIGGY BACK ONTO THEIR CHARGES!!!

I just found this and another 10 dollar charge from reservation rewards on my card. I have not bought anything online since November. So I have no idea where in the world this came from. The last thing I bought came from LLBean and I did not use this card. I have never used this card to purchase anything online. Tried to call but was told to call back Monday they are closed!!!!!!!! They better issue a credit quick.

I was charged $12 from this number, it said it was a shoppers discount from CT??  I tried to call at 8:30 am but they weren't open yet?  Strange

I called them and they said the charge was for a membersip fee.  I bought something online from Shutterfly and apparently they got my information.  Be careful when shopping online.  If you do shop online a lot like I do, I recomennd that you open a paypal account, it is free and almost every place accepts it.  Pay pal is a way to pay online without showing the sites your credit card number and address.

I too have been taken by this company...I have tried to get it stopped.  I am cancelling my credit card also and getting a new one.  No more buying online from unknown companies!

I was notified via email about a purchance made this AM at 7:09 for $12. I was asleep at 7:09 this morning. I did not authorize this purchase. I will be calling this number!

I discovered a $12 charge in my bank statement from Shoppers Discount. Apparently this "membership fee" originated when I bought something on Buy.com and agreed to sign up for a FREE trial period with Shoppers Discount, simultaneously receiving a $10 coupon for a future purchase. This would be a good case of reading the fine print on EVERYTHING you buy online. I called the number and a pleasant rep canceled my membership and supposedly will be refunding my money in 3-5 bus days. It was a relatively painless phone call and now only time will tell if I get my $ back...

I have been charged $10 for about 6 month and I called my bank and they told me they don't know anything about it  ! the only thing they know is the phone number and it is "Shoppers Discount".

I called to find out who is charging me and the lady said Movietickets.com gave them my credit card information. Outrageous I disputed and I believe i will get my refund soon.

Is it a punishment for using oline transaction ?
Is this thing legal? to me it is not.

I received a $12.00 charge on my bank statement from this 800# and did not know hat it was so I caleld the number and realized I did not authorize this charge.

I then tried to reach a customer service Rep and ended up in a loop of recorded messages.  None of which would allow wm to talk to a real person.

I never even received an actual call the charge just showed up.

I also had a $12.00 charge on my credit card after a Buy.com purchase.
I called the 800 number. I was able to cancel the membership and request a refund via automated voice messages (they are kinda long). But I still waited to talk to a rep to confirm the cancellation and refund.

Me 2 purchased online from Buy.com and somehow got enrolled in Shoppers discount, they are not even sending any letters and just like that started charging my credit card. Have noticed this in my statement and called the number and cancelled it. It is always better to review the monthly credit card statement.

Beware of DeepDiscountDVD.  They will sign you up for the $10 ShopperDiscount scam.

I just called Shopper Discounts because I have been charged several times to my bank account and I never signed up for membership either. I noticed other people wrote they received refunds so I called and talked to a rep and she said I would have my membership canceled but still have access to the discounts for a month. She said I could not get a refund.... So I got off the phone with her, checked these entries again and called back. I talked to another representative and she apologized and said I could get a refund of $10. I have been charged $30 so far and I said that no, I wanted $30 and she apologized and said that I would receive it in 3-5 business days. So watch out, they do not seem to offer anything but rather wait until you correct them and then fix the problem.

Wow, I just checked my statements again to double check and instead of 3 months of charges, I had been charged the $10 membership fee for 11 months!!! And the rep I talked to first did not even correct me when I thought I had only been charged for 3!!! This is terrible and double check everything.

I called back just now and said I had been charged for a year to make sure that I would get at least the 11 that I had found if not more and since I went over the amount they had been charging me instead of under the amount, the rep corrected me.

This is bull [***] and make sure they aren't scamming you!!!!!
