Received a call about a week ago from that number.  Per this website, I realized it was Time Warner Marketing.  I called customer service, asked them to remove my number from their marketing records.  She promised she would (really nice lady name Clarisse) and within 2 minutes from the call with Clarisse, I got another call from that same 800# !!!!  BUT THIS TIME, it was a customer service survey regarding the call I had made to their CSDept.  So, perhaps the other calls were survey as well?  Don't remember calling Time Warner around that time, but not sure really.  This is FYI.

I did not have a tech out and I still get these calls four times a day. They just left a message in a scary voice I could not understand. This should be against the law.

They keep calling relentlessly and we've returned their call countless times asking for them to flag our account "No Soliciting" even waited 20 minutes for a supervisor of whom said it would be done but as of today it hasn't been taken care of. If they call again, we're going to cancel services with them, report to FTC DNC violator, file complaint with BBB and procede harassment litigation against them. I have the last call recorded and while they were speaking to me someone was whistling in the background.

Time Warner Cable calling to sell me more services. I talked to them in the middle of the day and said no. They called again late at night and when I answered there was nobody there.

This is Time Warner!  I cancelled service with them yesterday, because I had Verizon installed.  Time Warner charges so much, that it's not even funny!  I got the same service with Verizon, for guess what...HALF THE PRICE!!  In fact, I just got off the phone with them again (since I wasn't home the first time), with then number of 1-800-281-6774.  So they have two different numbers and if they continue to call and harass me, BEGGING me to come back...I will report them!!

I called Time Warner Cable to ask some questions, and this was a follow up survey asking about the CSR I spoke to thats all. It's not some scammer or anything. I answered the call and spoke to the recording.

I get constant calls throughout the day on a number I use for business conference calls where I am speaking.  It goes on for months.  I've probably had 6 Time Warner Calls today.  Every time they piss me off with the constant calling, I drop one of their services.  I am now disconnecting phone, already disconnected cable.  Down to Internet...

Most likely these calls come from web -bots -crawlers -spiders and so forth which are programs designed to dial random phone numbers in an attempt to detect what is connected to the number called and break the security of any computer, cell phone or PDA so they can hack into the user's information and steal any private data they can.

I tried it again and got Time Warner cable located in Raleigh NC customer service. And though I got Raleigh I do live in NC so someone in another state calling might call the same number and get another state or even another country.

BTW, when getting an offer from one of your creditors bills to "Go green!" based on the premise that you will be saving trees it is my strong recommendation that people do not do it. If one does this then they will have to do a monthly download of their bills in the event of a future dispute; and you will have to keep backups of your computer which is something that, all too sadly, most people don't do.

But WORST of all, when one no longer receives mail from their creditor they will have deprived themselves from ever being able to file a mail fraud suit with the post office which in these days of mega-monopolies, companies are becoming further and further beyond the reach of the the law and the consumer's ability to rectify any fradulent charges on their bills.
