I got this number calling me today. They did leave a voice but I deleted instead of listening to it. I decided to call the number and it was in fact Time Warner Cable calling me back to reify the work that done is complete. I don't believe that a Collection Agency would have the same 1-800 as Time Warner Cable.

Called at 11:30PM at night.      Caller ID came up as TFZ_STA_2534151.   Found out it was Time Warner. Cable.   Better not call that late again.

They called me today and when I answered it disconnected. Other posts on here indicate it is Time Warner which would make sense because I talked to them about 30 min ago regarding my account.

It is indeed Time Warner Cable. They left me a message wanting me to answer 5 survey questions about my last customer service inquiry. I called the number back and did not get an option to answer the 5 questions so I hung up.

this number has called my cellphone, five times in one single hour or less than that. And I don't use my cell for cable just the wall phone, which also rings constantly but no one answers my hellos. it's getting very irritating. And this number never called my cell phone before, until today,

Had this number call five times yesterday which I let go to voicemail every time. First time it left a automated message on my voicemail, next 3 it left blank 4 second voicemails, then the last call yesterday was a human that said she was from time warner and I needed to call them because it was important. The number called again today and I answered, there was a woman on the line who said she was from time warner dispatch and that my internet modem had become out of date and that I wouldn't get a the speed I was paying for until either a technician came and swapped it out, they sent a new one in the mail or I picked up a new one from the store. Told her I would pick one up from the store and she said she would add the note to my account.

Actually it IS Time Warner's number....one of many.  This is the number they use to call folks who are about to have their service suspended or cancelled because of a late bill or non-payment.  They MAY use this number to contact folks for other reasons as well but I know for sure it's Time Warner calling.

I am not interested in buying or upgrading! If I want anything I will do it without someone calling me!

I got a VM from this # yesterday and called back. It is a legit Time Warner automated call. I had missed a payment (sent the money to the wrong company via online banking) and the recording gave me the option of making an automated payment or calling TW within 24 hours.

Guys, this is some SCAM company FAKING as Time Warner Cable calling! They called and left different messages in December, January and March!

This is one of their repeated automated messages from December and January:
"Hello, This is Time Warner Cable calling about an important change in the status of the accounts belong to. Firstname Lastname (WHICH IS NOT EVEN MY NAME!), please call us within the next 24 hours at (800) 892-2253. Again, please call Time Warner Cable regarding an important change in the status of your account within the next 24 hours at (800) 892-2253, Thank you for choosing Time Warner Cable."

March messages are varied versions about random appointment schedules and services that DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE so I can tell you this is totally SCAM! DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK!

This number calls me at least 3 times.  It left a computer-voice-message saying Time Warner has important message to tell me about my account.  It sounds very fishy.  I hate marketing phone calls or any promotional phone calls.  Please don't pretend that there is something important or urgent.  I hate to be manipulated by these big companies.  All cable company, all phone company, all the same..........  Use the function on your phone to BLOCK this number right away.

hahahahaha now all of your remarks here are way funny!  I wish I could actually play the phone message I just got from this number!  it was way funnier than hell!  hahaahah  a kid just sang to me over this number and then a lady talked and she talked in a different language on it at first and then asked if someone was on this in English!  hahhahahhaha   damn I wish I could play you guys this message you'd laff your butts off!  hahahaahahaha

Got 4 calls on my cell-phone. Message about an Installation by TWC. I never called or scheduled anything with TWC.
Of course, no technician showed up at the time

SCAM !  This is a robo caller seeking live numbers.  No TWC was ever here therefore its bogus.  Probably one of Obama 's released felons doing what he was trained in the CA prisons to do.  Ripoff people via robo call scams.

My sick, elderly mom is on the Do Not Call list. They Robo call constantly to hound her with "an important message" that usually turns out to be a Sales pitch. They have been told to stop. They have been reported. The calls keep coming. Where is the FCC? Why is this unenforceable? Enough!!
