Called to "verify" (read "scam") some info from my Capital One account.
What a fool!

I just got  call from someone looking for a possible relative of mine named Tina Sinicki.  I've never heard of that person.  Caller then said goodbye.

this number is listed on the Capital One site as the main contact number for customer inquires inside Canada and the US

Daily, a call rings in to my home. Caller Id displays - NOT PROVIDED 1-800-903-3637.  The person, female, does not give her name or where she is calling from.  The person asks for a Cynthia.... We have told her over and over again "You have the WRONG # and there is NO CYNTHIA at the # to NOT CALL AGAIN"!!!  They still continue to call and it is very frustrating and want it stopped or I will file telephon harassment charges!

Many calls from this number!  Multiple request to be removed have been ignored.  Always asks for card number and social.  Tries very hard to get info!  Today when I quoted consumer law, the ill spoken english foreigner called me "stupid American"  I invited him to engage in sexual activity with a pig.  Why can we see a license plate from space but can do nothing about these foriegn scammers!  UGH!

I got call today and lady say to me she call me from capital 1credit card but  I no have credit because I poor Ann can not get credit because I no can pay credit card I tell lady no call no more she say ok goodbye she call me sir

Since (800) 903-3637 is a scam why doesn't the phone company shut the number down It's also associated with (319) 225-2094 Amana, IA@ 800-903-3637

They told me they were a 3rd party that works with Capital one,  visa and master card  but  they wanted all kinds of private info that
no credit card company would ask for on the phone....
Clearly a scam

This may be someone who can 'spoof'  Capital one's number

The reason I think someone might be spooking capital one's phone number is that
(319) 225-2094 Amana, IA  called first saying they were a 3rd party to capital one  but the manager was at a capital one number
800-903-3637  who called me back  still saying they were a 3rd party
I think it was a spoofed number which unfortunately can happen,  like email spoofing a sophisticated scam person can spoof a call form a number

Wanted to lower my rate. I ask him which card, he said visa. I told him that I have 5 cards. He hung up.

Scammer/Telemarketer still touting the age old lower your credit card interest rate scam. CID showed "TOLL FREE CALL" & "1-800-903-3637". The phone number is spoofed and appears to be one of the legitimate numbers for Capital One.

Same, he wont stop calling. He called me a b* several times. Scam

Called wanting to have sx with goats gave him my friends number who raises goats 8017262003

Gosh, if I knew they wanted to have sex with goats, I would have answered.

They call and just didn't say anything

Recd numerous calls daily from these scammers pretending to be from my/your credit card. They use Chase Bank, Capital One, and other business names. They use numbers 800-903-3637, 800-669-8488, 800-421-2110, 800-347-2583, 800-950-5144, 800-945-2000, and other "spoofed" 800 numbers, and 214-330-2143, 877-220-4336. Their caller ID usually is blank (___), or TOLL FREE CALL, or  OUT OF AREA. My scam caller is male agent with an India accent and uses the same "lower your interest rate" fraudulent pitch. They have other robo computer calls using other scams. They violate numerous federal statutes and their activity is considered an organized crime and falls under the RICO Act. Carriers owning these numbers refuse to help and FTC is useless, because the criminals use spoof numbers and change frequently.Report ASAP, do not ever divulge any info.

No caller id. No name left on voice message. This person said to call back right away.
Did a reverse phone search. Thanks for the helpful info. Will block all calls from this 800#.

I got a call from 800-903-3637 today, the guy offered me to reduce my interest rate. and then he asked me which credit card i have. he was an East Indian guy, may be calling from India OR running fraud network from USA. Beware.do not disclose any information. Not even your name.
