I called this number back from a land line.  There was a prerecorded message, "This call is to validate that you have given a working phone number."  I applied online about auto insurance autoinsurance.lowermybills.com and they called me within minutes.  They did not leave a message on my cell.

i got a call on 6-9-09 around 535p MST and I chose not to answer it.  no vm was left,...it was a mystery to me what area code was calling.  818-299-9146

Same here.  Online auto quote application led to two consecutive, immediate calls.  After 10PM in my time zone, on my  cell phone.

Shopping for home owner insurance and the exact instant I hit "send" my phone rang.  Strange...

I was checking rates for auto insurance, and within seconds of completing, my cell phone rang.  Since it wasn't a number I recognized, I didn't answer.  There was no message, so I did a reverse phone search which turned up an unlisted number.  A little more digging and I ended up here.  The internet - a constant battle between good and evil.

Just shopping for home owner insurance in MA. As soon as the website (netQuote) displays the "Your Application ID xxx" the phone rings, no VM though.

i haven't applied for any thing and this number called me, my caller id said it was from california and no voice mail was left. who calls on 4th of july anyway? arent most companys closed on holidays?

i got a call from the same number after i got a health insurance qoute.

filled out a form online for insurance - they called me within mintues. No VM left.

Same here.  Just recieved a quote for life insurance ans phone rang with a number from California.  Funny, now my phone is ringing with a 425-372-0491 number.  Must be related.

I got a call from them less than 5 minutes after I requested online quotes for car insurance. No voice mail left.
Also got a call from 817-355-8399 at almost the same time.
