I applied for home insurance quote over the internet. When I hit send, I got the phone call, too! No message was left.

I did not apply for, or request ANY sort of quote, anywhere, anytime, and that is what I told the guy who called from MetLife at 9 this morning.

Interesting though that I spoke with someone instead of getting the recording a lot of people are getting. He even offered to get all my info out of the system since I didn't apply for it myself.

I was looking for auto insurance. As soon as I entered my number, the phone started ringing. No message left

Inquired about an insure quote and this number rang right away
I did not answer

I was called 2 minutes after inquiries about car insurance. No message left.  Suspicious.

This number called me a few minutes ago but didn't leave a message. Then literally 5 seconds after that call ended another number (866)484-1991 called me and left me this raspy voiced, creepy message. I haven't applied for anything and I too am on the no-call list, I am really beginning to get annoyed.

Answered and returned the call, both times a recorded message to 'validate the number for an Internet quote request' and I have requested nothing... Just playing a game online.  Could it have been from a pop up ad?

Got one of these today on a U.S. DNC-listed cell phone, so they're violating *both* rules!!

They call and don't leave a message... just curious so I googled the number.

OMG! How irritating! Isnt that why we check quotes on line? So we dont have to be bothered with the phone? UGH!

Had just clicked "send" on an insurance quote and the phone rang before I could even remove my hand from my mouse!  No VM, no person, nothing.

Computerized message stating that the call was to verify that a working phone number had been provided in a request on a Web site for insurance shopping.  Within five minutes I received two sales calls asking for a person I don't know who apparently gave my phone number on the Web site (probably because they didn't want any calls).

I just went to ITSOL, Inc. web site and requested quotes for everything by giving fake data using Eric Oster's (see first msg above) phone number (323) 850-8090 taken from complaints.com.  Don't use the 800 number, the form won't allow it.

Now Eric will get harrassing phone calls.

Unsolicited pre-recorded call from ITSOL rec'd before 9:00 a.m.  Seeking to confirm phone number for imaginary on-line insurance application.  Reported to donotcall.gov.

Same as so many others. Applied for insurance and then the call.....Any idea on how to stop the calls?
