These people first started calling my husband and myself threatening my husband.  They finally went away.  Now they are calling me saying it's me that owes a pay day loan, which I have never taken out in my life.  My father is a lawyer so I asked all of the normal questions which they couldn't answer.  I told them to contact my Lawyer (my dad) and gave them his information.  They hung up on me.  Called back again and "Kelly" ran through the same script and I calmly asked questions about this so called case and asked how I can pay restitution on a criminal case if I haven't been indicted or formally charged? She just got angry and asked me whether I was going to pay or not.  I told her that I had recorded the entire conversation and would be taking it to my local police department as well as the local FBI office and she screamed at me to have them represent me in court.  Total scammers!  I truly feel sorry for the people who aren't educated on the judicial system and actually pay these awful people.

Calling me, my husband, my sister 2 times or more a day.  Will not tell me what debt it actually pertains to and says she cannot send me documentation in the mail.  She just needs my bank account information so we can take care of it right away.  My husband confronted her and said he already contacted the authorities about the calls and she hung up.  But still are getting calls from this number.

This number 1-844-210-5817 has been calling me for days in which I miss the call each time but they never leave a message. Well today I finally was able to answer. A automated message prompts stating if I am not name given, hang up and if I am name given then dial 0 to speak to someone and reference case # given to representative. After dialing 0 another message prompts stating this call is in regards to a payday loan debt and I have pending fraudulent charges. I panic and wait to speak to a live person. A woman by the name Karen Smith comes on and starts off by saying they have a settlement offer in amount of $710 for a debt that is in process of legal charges unless I take care of. She says you want to take care of today by paying with a debit/credit card. I tell no because I don't know anything about this debt nor have the money or own a debit/credit card. Then she says well actually if you take advantage of this offer today we can settle for $568 and I decline. She says to go get a pre paid card. I start asking for the company info and she gives me the name Northwest Recovery Associates. So I research and find nothing but scam alert for this company name and phone # she called from.  I will not answer when they call back. Yea Right, Karen Smith with a Arabic accent????? Come on scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the same thing but my lady was "Jane Smith" LMAO. wow, I cant believe these are actual businesses.

I received a call that started with a computer, then I was transferred to a woman with an Indian accent. The "customer service" person said that I was being sued for Breach of Contract and Fraud for Cash Advance payday loan, totaling $687 with fees. I did take out a $300 dollar loan last year but not from them. When I told the lady that there was a mistake and take I would not be paying anything without proof that I took out the loan, she replied "you better get a good lawyer" then she hung up. I was so worried because I had no recollection of receiving any money from them, but just to be sure I checked my account and of course the lady was lying.

when I receive a call that doesn't have a name or number I know I just pick up receiver and put it back down.because I have a caption call due to having a hearing problem I can monitor my calls

Keep Calling our house phone with automated message I've called back twice and spoke to someone stating that who theyre looking for is not at our number and to remove our phone number from their call list. Calling from 844-210-5817

Annoying scam...wanted my wifes SSN, somehow they got my Cell.
From other feedback here at least I feel better that my instincts were right.

Next time I'll just ask her for phone sex in an East Indian accent until she hangs up.

These people are calling my work, cell and husband's cell. They told me I have an unpaid loan from 2011 that I took out from a company called "Insight Capital". I've never taken a loan from this company. I've never heard of them. I told the lady on the phone to email me the paperwork she has.  She said she couldn't do that. I told her she's a scammer. She laughed and said I can assure you this is not a scam. She told me I have 5 hrs to pat or o would be served. I told her I look forward to it. I knew this was a scam. She identified the company as NRA. I laughed saying you the National Rifle Association ? She said we're the National Recovery Association. I quit answering their calls. Even though it's been 3 days and they're still calling. I hope no one gives them a dime. People need to know this is a scam.

Called my parents home phone. Automated message saying they have a case pending in their office against me. I have nothing out there that I owe.

Keep getting calls from these people.  Several times a day. They even called family members.  Totally a scam. Same auto message. Same bat channel.

I keep getting a phone call from this number and its automated.  They say they have a case number and to press 0 for this and blah blah blah.....What the heck how do we stop these calls they are bogus and annoying.........

Same thing to me the past few days. I keep mentioning lawyer and they hang up or they tell me to get a good lawyer and hang up. Do not confirm your personal information

Threatening me with theft and taking me to court for a payday in 2012 and 2013.

I received 2 calls today from this number with no voicemails - then my husband received a call and they left a voicemail with my first name and maiden name stating that they had a claim in file for me. I called back and asked what it was in regards to and the accented woman said a payday loan - when I explained that this was a fraud, that someone took a loan out in my name she repeated an address that was not mine-I said I wanted to see paperwork and she became very rude and said it was sent to the address that I have never lived at. I then asked for a supervisor who was extremely rude and told me to get a lawyer and hung up. I feel that there needs to be restitution for thes scammers who are obviously stealing money from people who don't know any better. Has anyone thought of contacting a news channel ?

They called my house and cell phone looking for my piece of crap father that is in prison.. I didnt tell them that untill the 4th call back since they kept hanging up on me because i was asking who they were and why was they contacting me . they gave me all kinds of bull only an idiot would believe and i finally got the chance to hang up on them. Also, the human voiced beep in the beginning recording was hilarious.  Stupid scanmers

i just got a call from them telling me that i had an unpaid payday loan and that I was facing charges if I didnt pay. Scam. Ask them a bunch of questions about who they are and where they are located and they have a hard time answering them
