I have been receiving these messages for the last couple of days. Luckily, my mobile refuses to let me send the STOP reply txt. I am with TMobile so I will get in touch with them to see if they can block them at all.

i have had 3 txts from 85200 which have cost me nearly £15.00, i have just come off the phone to orange and despite there efforts to stop this number from txting me and taking my credit they have been unsuccessfull and they have now had to change my number for me and also credited my account. if you havent been successful with your own service provider, keep trying as i got cut off three times before getting anywhere! also just remind them that at the end of the day they are proffiting from this cheeky scam too!!

I got 4 texts - aqt £4.50 each- ripped off

i entered a freebie competition online and now being bombarded with texts from 85200. ive sent back stop so hope it works. they have robbed me of around £9.00.

Havent a clue but this number has shown up on my bill anyone know who it is?

They keep texting me lottery numbers but there is nothing to stop them or to tell them to stop.

What do I do?

I received a phone call to do a survey, which I did, and then got a text from Lottbyyext.com with lines for lotto and euro millions and one for how to claim. Unfortunately replied but then thought oops. Will I also be billed as I see that others have who have been "scammed".

Yes I did a telephone survey and was "REWARDED" with free lottery numbers.Then realised I have been charged £13.50.Reported it to T Mobile who could not refund but knew of the scam and have put a
"CONTENTS BAR " on the accout.They paid for my call to the  WIN COMPANY HOTLINE 0870 803 2340 (normally 40p per minute she said).I went through many prompts  AND LEFT MY POST CODE*I have now received a text from Lottoby text customer services to say ....my refund request has been received and will be processed in 7 working days.Will keep you informed

how do you stop the lottery lines by lottobytext.com ive trtd txin the nuber 85200 to stop it but it not woring

I was sent 5 free eurolottery numbers and I tx them to say I had a winner and they replied by sending me 5 more lottery numbers(which I did not ask for) and taking £2.50.

85200 keep texting me and every time they do it cost's me £4.00p, i want this texting stopped please

i put 5 pounds on my phone only yesterday and this lotto85200 had taken my  money  i want it stoped  who is behind this 85200

I too have been scammed, followed a trusty looking link from a freebies.co.uk style website, and then was sent the lotto lines to my phone. I will be checking my bill =( I think legal action is going to be in order. It is a shame some people will heartlessly run these scams at the cost of people's pockets and trust.

I subscribed to this service last week as my friend told me about it.

I was made redundant at work but still wanted to play all the lottery draws as part of a syndicate. Are you saying that I wont get my winnings? I know I have some winnings numbers! I'm pretty sure that cant be true and they are only charging me for texts because I opted in. They've sent me their terms in a text I'm gonna read them and give them a call right now.

I've just spoken to a lady at Lotto by Text and they told me how to claim my winnings! I had the option to have a code sent to me so I can get my winnings in cash at the post office or to be sent a cheque!!

I'm not really sure what everyone else here is saying. Did you try and claim any winnings?

I'll be over the moon when I receive my code to get my money :) x
