This guy has called several times and has an accent.  He says his name is John Smith from H A Corporation.  He wants romance.  YUCK!

Called me at work and asked if my last name was Elmore.  I said yes.  He hung up.  I called the number back and it said the circuits are busy. WTF?

I got this call in my office this afternoon too. The indian accent guy ask me for Tod. I said he had a wrong number, we dont have this person here. Then, he pretent to confirm what our company is and asked our company's name and other information. I refused and claimed I have no right to give him those information.
He became upset, said "OMG, I just want your contact information and why you don't want to give me....blahblah" I hung up the phone.
He called several times after I hung up his phone.
My colleague answered his last two phone calls. He continuously used f-word cursing my colleague because my colleague told him we were recording his phone call and would sue him for scam.

Verified my name & hung up, WTH?  Too many reports of this not to be an issue.

I received the inital call from 856-204-0652 and they asked for the owner of the company by name saying they were from the Bank of America. I told him he was not available and offered to take a message. He proceeded to ask me if we use that bank and if the named person worked there. He then asked me my age "because you have such a sweet voice" and when I declined to share he proceed to ask if he could touch my hair, hips, ect. I hung up and then received 4 calls in a row from the same number, which I hung up on. The last call showed as +40 300041049 so I answered. He repeated the whole thing again. I told him he was very inappropriate and to stop calling. Thus far he has not called back.

Caller had an accent, and asked to speak to someone who hasn't worked here in quite a while.

Heavy accent.  Asked to speak to my husband (business owner).  Said he was with UPS.  Not buying it.  Then he wanted to confirm the owners name.  Then he hung up.

The same number just called our office about 15 minutes ago. It was a man with a heavy indian accent. He asked for my boss by name. I said I was her office manager and could I help him. He said no. I said she's not here and I filter through all of her calls and again if I could help him. He said no. I then asked him to please put us on their "don't call" list. He replied with a no. I simply stated that he has to since I requested it. He said okay. I then hung up. Called it back and got a magic jack number without a name assigned to it. I despise these kind of calls taking up so much of my time at the office. And, our office is on the "Do Not Call" registry too. You would think we wouldn't be getting them.

Just received the 4th call. Rude Indian man. (856) 204-0652. Said he was from US Bank. I asked if I caould call him back. He siad the telephone number was too long to repeat and he didn't know it.

Just got a call on the same numbers....didnt leave a VM...now I kinda want to answer it if it happens again. :)

the lady asking the name and hung up why do they do this?

Jerk calls here all the time, I hang up without even listening to who he is looking for.  I know it is a telemarketer because of all the talk in the background.  He calls back and says why did you hang up on me?  But I had him on mute so he just kept saying "Hello" and "Why are you not talking to me?"  He tried to "Trick" me by calling from 3858-007-6179 but once the phone was answered you could hear it was the same place.  No sweat to me because I get paid for each call answered so the more these fools call the more I get paid.

Same here, Indian guy says he is from my company's accounting department asking to confirm my name and position. when I questioned him, he lied through his teeth to try and get me to confirm my information. he actually got annoyed with me and then hung up. Calling the number back, the number is disconnected.

Just got a call from this number on my direct line at work.  I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number, and he must have pressed 0 to get the operator.  Our front desk person transferred him to me - he told her his name was Fred Jones from UPS.  When i got on the phone, he began the call with wanting to confirm my name and my job title.  Very heavy Indian accent with a lot of background noise. I asked who was calling, he said Fred Jones from UPS, then asked to confirm my name again.  I just kept giving him a quick response of  "ok..." and he kept asking. Then he asked to confirm my job title and I asked him what it was regarding. He said he was from UPS and he has a package for me and repeated my name and job title and then said he would send a follow up email to my email address & spelled out my email address.  He started to confirm the address of my work & I hung up.

This is second time this guy with a heavy accent has called me on my direct dial work number.  First time just called me by name and I said yes and he hung up.  This time he wanted company name and I hung up.  How can they continue to do this for 18 months and nothing be done about it?

Rec'd a call from guy with accent asking for me by name.  When I confirmed, he hung up.  Then immediately rec'd a call on another line (different number) by what sounded like the same guy ... scenario repeated.

This a caller trying to make sure he has your correct information, I want to know why

Got a call yesterday and today from this number. They went thru company switchboard so they know what company I work for.
Yesterday it was a female, today a male. They confrim my name, then hang up.
