I've been barraged with calls on my office line (I work at a university in Canada) for several business days now. Upwards of 7+ times a day from 856-204-0652, but also 815-695-7849, 646-434-5429 and a 206 area code (didn't jot down the rest of the # in time). Mostly from the 856 number, however.

I now leave my line on call forward, as this has surpassed merely annoying. I had contacted our IT/Telecommunications department, but there's no way for them to block any of these numbers. And of course these spammers/fraudsters simply can make it appear that they're calling from a different number regardless.

They called and started to speak and then hung up.  Another WACKO to add to the block list.  

Had a man using this number call for one of staff members three times this week.  First time said he was from UPS and had a package for her, third time said he was a doctor and wanted to speak to her before hanging up.  We are moving to block the number.

Received a call this morning from a man with a heavy Indian accent who said he was from UPS and that had a package for me in Florida.  He verified my name and phone number but asked me to verify my work address.  Dummy me gave it to him.  He hung up afterwards.  I did call back and it said Magic Jack.

Continuous calling

I got the same thing, has anything happened? They called my work.

had someone confirm my name and hang up.  don't like it at all.  scary stuff to me.  Rude as well.

I just had the same thing happen to me. Asked for me by my full name, I said yes, and he hung up.

Call from Vineland New Jersey on my cell. Male voice, no accent, asked for me but mispronounced my name.
Caller: Is this ..........?
Me: "This is she"
Caller: " Hiiiiiiii"
Me:" Who is this"
Caller: silence
Me: "Identify yourself"
Caller: "It's meeeeeeee" singsong voice-creepy
Static and then the line went dead

Just called and asked for me and when I answered he hung up.The accent was non american,  could be indian.
Same thing happened to my husband

Caller left message which I could not understand.  It might have been foriegn but I did hear them spelling out "eaor re"  Caller ID unavailable.

Just received call from this number, middle eastern accent asked for me by name, and hung up.  Different number last Thursday, same voice.

These people call and constantly harass our place of business.  We want the calls to stop.

a man with a foreign accent called and asked for a person whose name I didn't recognize, He seemed to get irritated when I asked if he had the right company and location. He said "can't you look this up in your directory to see if he works there".  I told him there was no one by that name and he hung up

I just received a call from this number on my work phone.  The guy was really creepy sounding and said "Cynthia?".  Is this Cynthia?  I said yes and then I asked him his name and what he wanted.  He said, this is "John Smith" and that "He wanted nothing."  And then hung up.  Very, very creepy.

A man called my office asked for me when I answered asked if I was Lisa Peterson and then hung up.

A man with a foreign accent called and asked for a person whose name I didn't recognize.  I told him he had the wrong number and he was irritated and asked if this was a company or private number.  It was a company, but being new I had never heard of the Alison M he was asking for.  A coworker confirmed that that person does work here so I told him I could transfer him to reception, and he hung up.

Guy Called asked fro me. When I answered he verified it was me and Hung Up
