For years now I have been receiving calls from this number.  They do not use my correct name.  They request me to call back and use a file number.  This I have never done.  I received a call almost every day and on week-ends as well.  The time varies from 7:30 a.m. till 9:40 p.m.  Is there no way to stop this?  I am tired of running to the phone only to see this number come up on the display.  I will never answer it and never call back and yet they keep on calling.

this is a company that looks for you over 10 years later, to collect debts made in the past... mine had to do with a debt made by an ex boyfriend, credit card with an ex boyfriend. a debt of $163.00 accrued since 1999... and they were looking to resolve it... then they day he works for the current company i own? lmao !!!

I keep getting annoying phone calls asking me to call back.  They say there is an important matter in their office for me to discuss.  They do not identify themselves nor do they give me any idea what the matter is.
I did respond and pressed the #1 to speak to a representative once, and was put on hold, with annoying music playing in my ear. What do these scammers want? It must be some form of identity theft or bank account information scam.

Attention: Don't provide any information when people of this number 1-866-226-8881 phone to your home. They want to have any information to set up you and your family in bad case. They are mafia. They want to do bad things to people. It is reason why they always phone to you home days and nights, and around years Don't give any information to them!!!!!

NO    its not always the case in a  lot of instances you use old records or old phone numbers , lots of documented cases of that,    and you still will not stop calling so, get over yourself.  And stop pretending to care about ownership of something.  Calling a person to get ahold of someone else is not responsible at all.  Especially if they have told you that person doesnt exist at that number.   And some people have hard times and after several years of interest I am sure they had paid for thier purchase and a lot more........maybe banks and lenders should be more responsible, and not overcharge or enter in an agreement with people that cant clearly repay it ever.  Or they should maybe give you a break once in awhile if undo hardship is the problem.  Gee sorry my dad feel off roof while working and he cant repay for the tv he bought 4 years ago still,  but I do like to have cereal in the morning before school....things like that,  they happen buddy, so once again I say get over yourself.

This is a collection company with a lot of subsidairies,  they call from several numbers and have and will try to get any information.   Just say i do not know that person if you say i do or its me or I can give them a message you will get hounded for life.

Don't answer and give any information to this number 1-866-226-8881. Because this number is mafia number. they have use to collect information of many people and use to set up bad things to many people.

These people aren't entitled to any of your money.  Don't give in.  Old debts sold and resold, that are 6+yrs old are not collectable in courts.  What this means is these collectors have the legal right to try to collect, but no judge in Canada would side with them in court.  This is why they will never risk spending thousands of dollars in court fees to try to go after this money.  They are also purchasing these debts for pennies on the dollar, which means it's just like a license to print money.  I admit I have a 30yr old debt, its never going to get paid, because the money isn't going to the true creditor.  Had the original creditor been chasing me all this time, it would have been paid.  The problem was, the debt was sold in such a short period of time, I believe it was only 6 months.  In that time I was unable to make a commitment to repay them.  They sold the debt for whatever they felt was a fair write off amount, that was their business, I did not force them to make that deal.  I owe nothing to any collection companies.  In fact the proof is on my credit report.  If the scum want to try to take a chance by purchasing collectable debts, then so be it.  I'd suggest nobody give in to a debt that has been sold off like this.  I've also had the experience of getting these calls for someone I have no clue about.  They keep saying they will remove my number, but eventually they call back and I have to explain it all again...
