I need help in trying to figure out what has happened to my Capital One account that was handed over to Natale Law Offices in Markham over 1 year ago for collection.  I was told to send them cheques in the amount of $120.00 each month for 1 year which I did do.  I received a letter from Capital One Vice President, Customer Services, L. Napier, indicating that my account would now be transferred over to Global Credit and Collection and to send them new cheques because my cheques originally sent to Natale Law Offices would be destroyed.  I then received another letter from Total Credit Recovery at 225 Yorkland Blvd indicating that they were now in charge of my account.  To avoid confusion I sent Total Credit new cheques in the amount of $121.00 so that the old cheques would not be cashed as I was told my Global Credit and Collection agency.  I never received my original cheques fro Natale and could not get anyone to answer their phone when I called several times.  My problem now is that the the person who has my old cheques in the amount of $120.00 are trying to cash them but they are going back NSF because I do not have any money other than my old age pension.  When those cheques are returned NSF my bank is charging me $42.00 for the NSF.  I cannot change my bank account because of my pension and insurance payment and I am now insecure about what I should do.  I have no money so I cannot try to take legal action against Natale Law Offices where this whole mess originated.  I don't know if I should report this to the Law Society, even though they will not do anything about this mess.  If you have any words of advice, I would appreciate it.  Many thnx.
