Calls me multiple times day and night. Very annoying!... just ignored it. I'm pissed off!

First of all, I know exactly why this number is calling me all the f'ing time and its because I opened a new bank account at which they wanted to do a credit check.  Right after this I started getting the calls...  Really wasn't hard to figure out.  My caller never answers back and hangs up as soon as I answer...  Never leaves a message and repeats this about 20 times a day.

Want to know how to make it stop?  Follow these simple steps in your Android to block all future calls...  It doesn't stop them completely, but at least you can stop the ringing of your phone....  Here we go, an no apps needed!  Apple, I suggest Google how to block incoming calls....

First we need to create a contact so your  phone can identify the call to block... Open your history on your phone, and tap the clock beside the number you want to block.  Next just the guy with the + and create new contact.   Now from here you can do everything in one shot, name the contact, usually just the number works for that, add to a specific group like "blocked" and then select the menu at the top right corner and check "All calls to voicemail" and thats it... Not more ringin!!!

Still have to deal with voicemail but at least you can now have peace!

We have been getting calls from this number for about 3 weeks, every day, 2-3 times a day.  1-866-387-8751 ext 15026. Also getting calls from 1-778-328-9992. They keep asking for my daughter.
Getting really tired of it. So now after the 3rd ring they get a very shrill whistle blast But they still continue to call.

Received a phone call saying we owe money to Telus, and it is in collections.

About a Rogers bill from 2006. That's a bit strange I would think.
Anyway, I'm calling back and asking for a paper copy of the supposed invoice.

Did you ever get a paper invoice? They called us about one from 2004!

This caller claims to be CBV Collections and I am not sure what serious debt they feel a 13 yr old owes, but they certainly have the wrong number calling my 13 yr old son's cell !
Though i have been informed numerous times the number belongs to a 13 yr old and that we have  absolutely no clue as to who the person is they are looking for !!
They call at least 2x a day and send texts totally ignoring they have been informed numerous times it's a wrong number !
Perhaps they need to be sent a bill charging them for the minutes they have used in their negligence and the number of texts they have cost my son as his cell plan has limitations !!
Laws need to be clearer and have stronger enforcement against these Collection Agencies !!!
Perhaps if more people place complaints and even if possible have a lawyer send cease and desist orders to these Companies !!

sent txt from 1 438 796 3443  to call 18663878751, this phone I have is my boyfriend's old phone, set up in his name, yet they asked for myself. I just changed cell providers & provided his  # as mine, so I guess that's how they got my name and number.

it should be illegal for companies to share info when you sign up with them!!! such breach of confidentiality!

Collection agency

I started recently getting calls and text messages from this #8663878751 and they are relentless - they do call at late hours as well and it's a few times a day. Latest call I received was 9pm, I was so fed up I answered one day to see what it's all about and they told me it's in regards to an outstanding Rogers Bill - I haven't used a Rogers account in over 10 yrs and told them I do not have a Rogers acct and the lady with a very southern American accent said it's not regarding a recent account. I laughed. They asked for my birth date and I told them I am not giving them that information and to stop calling me and I hung up.  I have never received anything in the mail regarding an outstanding debt so how these ppl are getting away with what their doing is beyond me!!
Statue of limitations for a collections agency to collect on a debt in my province is 6 yrs if the outstanding bill was before the year 2004, and only 2 yrs if after 2004. These ppl are definitely scammers and what they are doing is illegal.
All collection agencies are suppose to be registered with your province and if they cannot provide you with the provinces registration number then don't buy into what they are telling you!!

My son sent me a text request he had received from this number. The text indicated that they were seeking out a different person. After reading the information and reviews from this site we did not text or phone the number back.

I received a text message from (438) 796-3423 asking if my son was at this number.  They said to call 1-866-387-8751 to quote a #.  Won't be calling them back

Morons texted my partner this morning with a vague message asking if they owned the number, and to reference a number when returning their call...

Sorry, but you won’t ever be receiving that call, losers.

Sounds funny, when they threaten you (me)..... Like as if they spend alot more money than they're trying to collect for another business, that falls short in their billings, (know I paid the bill, they're harassing me about) I have all the print outs, or receipts for the money spent on a product...
They say I owe Virgin mobile some money, but in all honesty, I paid my debt. And I think somebody is fkn slacking and they should get their [***] together and stop saying they're owed money..... Fk!!!!! 😂
