They texted to call them back at 8663878751 giving a Quote # to me. They texted me from a 438-796-3440.  Its BS and just a collections agency trying to steal money from you. Do not pay or give them your private information!! They are probably not even Canadian and its a 3rd party company most likely from East Asia, Middle East, or Southern America...someone with a thick accent!!! lol

These calls are from CBV "collection agency". I always research unrecognized numbers that leave me vague messages or call with any frequency. CBV has a reputation of being questionable in their methods. From what I read online they have been called moblike in their tactics of obtaining money from unaware individuals.  Research your rights.  Guard yourself from unethical practices.  If you are being victimized another post here gives details on who you may report to.

I have received several calls, starting today at 7:30 am, on my company-issued phone. I have not answered any of them. Numbers include 866-887-0747 (3 times), "Toll Free Service" (3 times), 905-806-0969, 905-809-3323, 855-528-5378, 289-919-5094 and 289-122-6899... to name a few.  Text message today was from "Jonathan Morin" 866-387-8751 regarding 1181602133.  Co-workers are also receiving numerous calls.  Clearly a scam to gain data and personal information from people.  DO NOT ANSWER or CALL/RESPOND back to calls or texts.  Eventually they will be shut down.  Turn off your phone or at least silence the volume if they are calling early in the morning. If you are able, block these calls.

I keep getting text messages (from different numbers) telling me to call this number about an “important message”.  The text is usually from someone called Tasha Simpson.  Nothing to do with me, but I keep getting the same text messages!

CBV collection agency calls all the time. They think that I owe them money but have not served me with any paperwork. I don't think that they have a legal leg to stand on due to the statute of Limitations in Ontario. I will never pay them. I just put the number in my smartphone's contact manager and silence the ringer for that particular number. Now, I rarely notice when they call. Never answer a call that you don't recognize, google the number first to investigate the number calling you. I have at least 40 phone numbers for CBV on my contact manager.

Tasha Simpson (unknown to me) keeps asking me to call this number as they have an urgent message.  Send by text message.  Always the same name, but with a different number that it is sent from.  Just a big pain!
