This law firm contacted my parents who live in another state to say that I am being sued.  I contacted the law firm and was told that she could not give me any information on the case since I was the wrong party....  I wanted to know who the plaintiff was - she would not tell me.  She said that my parents phone number was attached to the file.  I said that was rediculous and to remove it.  She said she cannot.  

I have informed this law firm many times that they have the wrong person, but they are still harrassing me.  

The lady they are looking for, Deborah Miller, who lives in a different town..  Then she became irrate and hung up on me.

Got a call today from a Barbara Hill @ Hoffman, Weinberg, O'Brien saying that she was calling looking for Cheryl Evans Bailey about a current case & that my husband was put down as a relative @ our number & for him to call her back @ 866-450-5702 ex 105 case # 102578!! We know no one by the name she gave so why would we call her back!! And if this is truely a collection agency then they need to state that and not lie saying they are calling about something else or someone else!! Why should we support them being able to do that!! I will not pay some for lying to me about what they are calling about. To me this is a scam!!!!!

My mother in law just called me and said that this number called her regarding my husband.  My mother in-law was told that they were from the Creek County Court House.  That is misrepresentation.  They are not from the Court house and have lied and scared my mother in law to death.  Since they have lied about who they are what can I do?  I have checked our state database regarding court cases and there aren't any pending against me or my husband.

They have been calling my mother-in-law for 3 days now.  They called me at work this morning and they hung up because my husband was on the other line.  The lady called me back and asked if we had a son named Phillip and I said yes, she then wanted to know if his mother's name was Hattie, I said no and gave her my name.  She said is your husbands mother's name Hattie and I said no, she said well then what is it and I said I wasn't going to give it to her.  I asked for a fax number and she refused.  She said I don't know what kinda game you are playing but this is serious.  We will put a lean on your house and I told her to go ahead.  She got mad at me and hung up on me.  I refused to give her my husband's number and that made her mad.  I did tell her to cease all communications with me or my mother in law or anybody else.  I told her to mail something to us.  She was pissed off by the time she hung up on me!!!

I come home to a message from these people looking for a Patty Melzon a realtive of mine concering a matter and to call back 1-866-4502-5702 ext. 105, Case number 41686..  I have never been related to a Patty Melzon..  Geeze, there are multiple people in the state of Washington with same first/last name as mine..  Not to mention how many in the US have same first/last name as mine..  I came across someone with the same first/middle/last name as mine not to mention the same age, but this person lives in Texas.  I have never lived in Texas..  Got there message to late tonight so I will have to call them and tell them to keep trying all with the same name as mine and to remove my number as a contact number..  What a bunch of LOOSERS.

oh yeah not to mention when ever talking to one of these loosers, never answer any question with a YES.  or you will be screwed, they tape their calls, and can ask a random ? at any time and if you answer YES to anything they can input your response anywhere and use it against you in a court of law.

Mrs. Morgan from HW and Obrien from 866-450-5702 ext.125 has called me and two of my friends that I know of claiming to be a law firm and if they do not hear from me or my lawyer I will be served with a summons either at my residance or place of business. Theie choice. I think it is terrible that they can lie to you,your family and frienfs to get debt info. I am glad I decided to Google them to see if they wete legit.

i just got a call from this number today to pay a credit card debt i had already paid off, they told me that it was being sent to court if i didnt pay today, of course i got right on my computer and found all these complaints about this company and when i seen that phone number, that everyone else is posting im glad i didnt pay them anything, , thanks for having this sit you just saved me some money and loss of sleep.

Igoing to file a lawsuit against this company for their actions. Yes I know I have a bill but I am not going to be talked to like I am a dog . They called my job  called on a time barred debt and did'nt even want to tell me what it was for. But she wanted to garnish my wages , well if she was smart she would know the law which I do and in my state you can not do that. I have already received a call from an attorney two of them. Think when you are a bill collector next time the way you act because after my suit you will not treat another client like you treated me that is a promise to the public. No one wants to be behind in their bills, but you do not have to act in that manner to get money , also being reported to NC states attorney general . They would also not give me their address they refused to do so. Has anyone else filed litigation against this company its time to bring them down for illegal collection practices

I got a call from a "Suzzette Daniel" She was asking for my mother... said the same old crap about a court case and gave me a "docket number" . That I needed to contact her right away to help her. I am glad I looked this company up before worrying my mother. What a crock.... ughh

Any one talk to a Barbara Hill? she is calling my relatives now.

My father in law got a call regarding a legal matter with my father.. who passed away last month. I spent the last hour and a half an emotional wreck thinking of this crap and what it could be about. Thank you everyone for your replies.

I got the call from Ms. Daniels, xtn.110, my mom also got the call last night from them. They even called my cell phone, and left a message. I was concerned, because she had so much information. She said I had never responded to the paperwork she had sent that I was supposed to send back signed. I asked where it was mailed and asked if had been sent certified. I did answer yes in regards to my current address, and asked her to re-mail then which she said she couldn't do?? She too stated they were in the early stages of processing and I would be served papers to appear in court over this matter, halfway through the conversation I know she started to record the conversation, which is illegal to do without informing the caller you are doing so, but I guess she could take my earlier YES and edit the conversation, which I am not surprised if they do. I finally asked her to hold so I could have my fiance come listen to the conversation, when we got back on the line she was gone. I am thinking about calling back and telling her I want her to record our conversation, I will then be recorded telling her I know I was being recorded because the phone started beeping and she did not disclose to me or ask permission and that is against the law.

Well these people called me about my dads debt.  I told them I haven't spoken with him in years but they call me at least once a week.  We don't live in the same state, have the same name, or share anything except DNA unfortunately.  So for all of you saying these people should pay their bills if they want them to stop harrassing them, please tell me how I'm supposed to get them to stop calling me when it's not my debt to pay.

Debts have a Statue of limitations. This is the date from the last activity on the debt and it differs among states know yours! These sleaze balls called my grandma and gave her false information about my debt.(which is illegal!)  I do owe somethings but I will not pay anything to this company.
I have been working at cleaning up my credit and this company thinks they can bully me into giving them my bank info. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!  Know your rights get a copy of the fair debt collection act. And record every call. And report anything you find abusive to the FTC.
