Freedom to get you...With the economy being as it is,alot of people are wishing on a dream. It seems as though these kind of practices could be stopped after so many go out, Considering that they are scams. $60.00 for me could pay water, electricty, even gas money for a week. Check before sending anything anywhere. We must protect ourselfs.

Got a card yesterday. Figured it was a scam. GLAD TO SEE CONFIRMATION ON THE WEB.

Got a mailer for similar information..called and got an answering machine..telling me to pay 59dollars and etc! Scam man!

MY HUSBAND RECEIVED THIS SAME LETTER IN THE MAIL, HE CALLED ME TO TELL ME, I TOLD HIM GIVE ME THE 800 NUMBER SO I COULD LOOK IT UP, JUST AS I EXPECTED A SCAM, BUT IT HURTS ME TO SEE ALL THESE PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET, AND THESE CON ARTISTS ARE JUST TAKING PEOPLE'S MONEY BECAUSE THEY CAN, AND HAVE NO MORALS, I COULD HEAR THE SADNESS IN MY HUSBAND'S VOICE THINKING WE COULD FINALLY GET AFLOAT. PEOPLE ARE JUST SICK

I just received a letter with the same number telling me their office is attempting to reach me with regards to an upcoming release of Government Funds of $25,000.00 which I could obtain to use for anything I wanted. I too was suppose to call the number to confirm wihtin 36 hrs. and give them a release code.  Knew it was a scam the minute I read it. I hope these people will somehow get caught and put behind bars where they belong.

I got the same thing in the mail. i was about to call the number but decided to look it up first. Im glad i did! thanks!

I'm the most recent one to recieve this notice in the mail.  Looked to good to be true so goggled it.  I'm so glad I did.

I RECIEVED A NOTICE SAYING I WAS APPROVED A GRANT AND TO CALL BUT AT THIS MOMENT I DO NOT HAVE APHONE TO CONTACT YOU.

today is March 13th,in today's mail I recieved a mailing form this company out of Kansas City,Kansas,stating that I have been approved to recieve a government grant to recieve money in the amount of $25,000,and this statement was pending my response within 36 hours upon receipt of this paper,or the funds would expire,you know that there are some very sick people in this world today always trying to rip people off or trying to destroy people's hopes of a better tomorrow just to make a quick buck.

Got this in the mail. the mailer did not give anyway to verify if it is legitimate. Most companies that are on the up and up will give you a website you can go to or at least give you a complete address. Throw it away if you get this.

I need money for my daughter's college education, this definitely is too good to be true. Stick to the old tried and true to pay for your education, scholarships, legitimate federal grants there are all kinds of websites out there all you need to do it take the time.

I suggest that if you lost money to these creeps, that you go to this web site
www.usps.com/forms/_pdf/ps8165.pdf  There you will have the opportunity to seek justice. Print the form and send it in---lets put these crooks in prison so they can enjoy all the creature comforts that come with scamming your fellow man.

received the same letter today 3/14)(09 stating that i was approved and call 1-866-576-9176 .i listened to his lies,hung up on him and went to the internet.i was had before and never again.i have scams on my screen and makes copies.isent some 2 weeks ago to the attorney office and the one from the F>B>I ii washington icalled 311 and they connectedme to the ny fbi and they are trying to get them.........please be aware...some people don't know.i am 81 and i have plenty of sense...GOD BLESS

MY HUSBAND LOST HIS JOB THIS WEEK AND I WAS THRILLED WHEN I GOT THE LETTER IN THE MAIL. I WAS THINKING THAT THAT SOUNDED WAY BETTER THAN UNEMPLOYMENT SUPPORTING US TIL THE OILFIELD STARTS BACK UP. I'M GLAD THAT MY KIDS WANTED TO GO TO THE LIBRARY TODAY. I CALLED THE NUMBER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LETTER AND KNEW IT SOUNDED TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. WHILE AT THE LIBRARY WITH MY GIRLS I DECIDED TO LOOK UP G.F. INSTITUTE AND I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR THE WARNINGS BECAUSE EVENTHOUGH TIMES ARE BAD AND MANY FAMILIES ARE STRUGGLING WITH UNEMPLOYMENT AND HAVING A HARD TIME TRYING TO KEEP FAMILY, HOUSE, AND HOME TOGETHER; THINGS COULD BE EVEN WORSE IF YOU LET THESE PEOPLE SCAM YOU. ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA, THINGS CAN ONLY GO UP FROM HERE.

Thank you all for responding to this issue.  I just got this postcard as well and tried to find out some information about this online and found all these negative responses.  Thank you for warning me from calling and having just another company with my personal info to use.
