Yep, I got my scam letter from GF Institute today - sure, sure, $25,000 with NO STRINGS from the GOVT???   Yeah, right.  This is getting filed with the US Postal Inspection Service ASAP.  You can get the form online at https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radDocs/ps8165.pdf to file the complaint via mail or https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx to file the complaint via online form.

Rec'd Approved letter in the mail.  Telling me the Deadline to respond is 36 hours from receipt (how do they know when I receive it?) They hve me sending me this crap since I moved.  How do they get your address!!!! I will not call 1-866-576-9176.  BEWARE!!!! I was a victim of Identity Theft won't I won't be a victim again!!! For the record OVER SEAS LOTTERY IS ILLEGAL IN THE US OF A!!!!!!!!

Yes, l received this notification regarding $25,000 grant from U.S.Government,mailed from G.F.Institute Kansas.The "Wisdom" of God made me to know that,all free blessings come from Him alone. Actually,these group of scams had made several phone calls to me different times, despite my phone number is 'unlisted',additional rate paid monthly for this. Now,who is responsible for releasing one's information to "children of Belial", the scams? No matter the hardship anyone is passing through, please do not ever 'jump' at any free offer, seek wisdom before you make a move. l pray that we shall all live in the 'Fear of the Lord.'

Got one of these in the mail today...just by reading it I knew it was a scam. These folks should be in jail!

hi im efer i just got a letter in the mail and received a call. dont fall for it since when does the governtment or any funding agency care about people like us as they say. then about that 25k... humm yeah then a 70 dollars one time fee yeah right its all a scam.

I am so very, very glad that I decided to look this up on the internet just before buying it on the phone. I was so very interested. I know that there is a book at the library you can look at that helps with grant writting, so this sounded ok to me. Thank you for being here for me.

I did not get a call, but I did receive a letter stating that someone is trying to reach me from GF Institute in Kansas City. I did google to see if this was a scam and I guess my instincts were right.

3/30/09 Ireceived a postcard like others 25000 in goverment funds.Thank goodness you are out there to keep us safe.

I just thought there is no FREEMONEY out there so Ilooked it up .I found my fears are right the 25,000 grant through G.F.Institute Kansas City,Kansas is a scam they sent me a post card like the others.

I received this letter also and in checking it out found this site.  I recently ordered a Federal & Private Grant CD, bargain price $1.95.  They then proceeded to continue taking money from my credit card for memberships and services that I supposedly "approved" when I ordered the CD.  I received calls and emails constantly from pushy solicitors for months.  I am not a pushover but I fell for this CD scam.  Whatever you do, don't order this CD.  I believe this letter I received is part of that scam and I am NOT going to get into that mess again.

Alejandro, contact your credit card company and file a dispute with them for these charges.  I was able to recoup my money.  It took a while but I got it back.  Credit card/debit card companies have to address disputes for bogus companies and charges according to law.

i got one of these in the mail today. at first i was curious, then suspicious. Kansas City is NOT in the state of Kansas. so i looked it up, and sure enough, i got this site.

be careful folks, scams like this are often full of typos, bogus phone numbers, and false webpages. a little research and they are revealed for the crap they are. never call the number on the message or letter you get. look up the company online and check the official number listed for them.

I got a mailout from GF Institute telling me to call them for the $25k, but I decided I would look for scams on the computer.  Thank you everyone for having this website as it helped me.  Phone number was 866-576-9176.  Envelope says Grant from US Government.

got a postcard, approved for $25,000 government grant, got online to read about it and I'm so glad I did.
