Thank for all of the info, I just got one today in the mail and thought I would check on it, I'm glad I did. I all ready  been in one scam not two long-a-go. Watch out for the ones from Metro Leanding Group. they are about the same. Thank you everybody for keeping an eye out for everybody. Happy Holidays.

I called and I belive this fake. I want to tell you make sure please don't call to this number.Thank you for keep your safety sake.

Received a letter in the mail on 01/08/09.  Was suspicious! Did not call number and ripped up paper.

Received a communication from G.F. Institute today in the mail.  Got online typed in who is gf institute and immediately referred to a scam report site, thx.

I got paper in my mail box.25k to use them for everything you want-this is not something that the government will give you just like that.don't take it serious.

Why?

It is legal to send bulk mail for ANYTHING out of the state of Kansas. The interesting part - there is no definitive address or contacyt on their form. They have "operators" in their cell scam located all over the US.....the game is to get your $59 and email address. They then SELL your email address in a list for thousands of dollars to companies that are looking for suckers JUST LIKE YOU to rip off.

Be warned - this is not legitimate nor can these crooks guarantee anything - except possible jail time for taking advantage of your trust and good intentions.

My husband just got this his letter from this G.F. Institute, it is a shame, because we could have use the money to put a roof on his dad house. It is always good to check out the BBB.

As bad as I need some money right now, I had to google this letter. That's how I found all you smart people like myself. Total Scam I say tooo.

My husband got this mailer today and thought he could trust it.  He asked me to check it out and I wasn't surprised that half the world has got this mailer.  I know it is a scam to collect a fee for doing nothing!  Thank you for verifying it!

Just got mine today and 25k for anything is too good to be true. Gov only want taxes not give out. lol

I had a mail with the same exact thing. Get up to 25k funds of grant money. I picked up the phone called. Almost told them to kiss my ass!! Lol I knew it was a scam.

I do not know how they got my name and address.The information they gave me is the exact information i gave out to one other outfit...all scam.They kept charging me for programme i never took part in...via my credit card.it is crazy and wicked.
Government should do somthing....thank God i came to this website to check and ...thanks.

I just received the same letter in the mail today. I am so glad I checked this online first and found out this is scam. My daughter is college and could use the money for school. It is a shame that people can get away with these scams and you all are right, something that sounds to good to be true...usually is.

I just received the mailer right now and I immediately was pulling up a red flag. so i decided to look up the institute online. guess it doesnt exist. knew it must have been too good to be true

I as well as many more than those here in this forum, recieved this SCAM Letter. What I would like to know is who and when is someone with the means to do so going to stop all of this Internet FRAUD ? MY FOLKS THREW THEIR COMPUTER IN THE TRASH. I TOLD THEM THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME FIRST BECAUSE IT WAS NOT EVEN A MONTH OLD. My Dad say's sorry son but these things are PURE EVIL and computers are the beginning of the end for all of us !! I have talked to so many different people who say they would rather be in the dark than to have a device that is so truely Evil ruin the rest of their lives. Scams and Internet Fraud need to be dealt with a lot harder than they currently are. Actually, every time I turn my PC on I find several new Internet Sam's as well as Mail Scam's. It's time something be done to rid the Internet of this crap, like find and shoot these useless scumbags in the head and save tax dollars to keep their slimy [***] in jail !!!!

I recieved the mailer saying I was approved for the $25,000 grant. thought about twice, got on the internet saw you guys and you know what., I love this internet. Thanks guys

I recieved a mail in my mailbox too. they asked me to call them within 36 hrs for release the funds. I don't know why can they get my name and my address? I recieved many mail like this from someone who i don't know! I expect that our gorverment should stop these companies and give them some relevant punishments to stop them from cheating other people. Thanks.

Got this in the mail today knew it was to good to be true, so went on line to see what I could find out that it is a SCAM THANK You all for the Info.
