I got a telegram looking notice in the mail today from G.F. Institute in Kansas City, Kansas today telling me that I have 36 hours to respond to
the urgent matter regarding release of $25,000 dollars in grant money fron the upcoming release of Government funds.
I have gotten telephone calls from people about grant information and hang up on them after telling them to stop calling me, yet they continue to call.
I think the government needs to look into these scams and shut them down.
Also watch out for free credit report.com this is a scam as well

I'm so glad I checked this out before getting into a mess. Please stop these stupid people that pull this stuff for people to get hooked. I need money, but not this. Thanks.

Received a letter stating I was going to get "free" grant money, $25,000.  Tried to look them up on the internet and found all these responses to the mailing.  Scam, Fraud, Rip off.  Common thread thru all these emails.  How do we get rid of these scammers and how do we get off their lists.  Anybody have any suggestions?

There was a mail letter from G.F. Institute Kansas City Kansas sent to me about the Approvai of $25.000.00 Grant from U. S. Government.which was received on2/14/09 with my mailing adress 959 Albany Ave Brooklyn NY 11203- 4021.   Additional Details of the letter  1 G.F.INSTITUTE CREATED TO ASSIST AMERICAN RESIDENTS ACCESS GOVERNMENT FUNDS. 2 FUNDING AVALIABLE AS GTANTS AND WILL NEVER HAVE TO BE REPAID AT ANY TIME ETC.    Iam a DVLottery 2008 Permanent resident holder unemployed since SEPT. 9/27/08,l came into U.S. expiain to me, in a clear term, how I can  get this Grant free without refunding it.

I got a letter in the mail about the 25,000 goverment grant to use it any way you like with out ever having to pay it back,these people should be stopped, there are people out there looking for help like myself that will be varnable to a scam like this and give these people their personal imformation,i never called the number i needed to research it first and this site came up, there is to many of these things out there so to everybody out there if you get this letter in the mail disregard it please!

Nowdays,people try to take your money by making you believe that you 'll receive 25,000 or whatever amount. That type of luck does not exist.

Thank god for the internet, just got a letter from them myself.

I just received mail about a 25k grant that does not need to be paid back and I can use it for anything I see fit. That right there sounded unreal. So I checked it out online and found this website about the same scam. Thank God I did! This is the third scam I receive in less than 2 months. It seems when they can't get you one way they try another.
It's great to have websites like these that keep thieves OUT! Well done!

I thank the creator, that I received this so call "FREE MONEY GRANTS" I just received today. Why would I say Thanks to the creator for this letter, well because I did my  online research for this this SMCAM COMPANY CALLED G.F. INSTITUTE
KANSAS CITY KANSAS. Therefore While I was looking for this bogus company, your site came on the yahoo search list.

As well as other "warnings site advising to fall for this " OUR office is attempting to reach <stop>. ( What tell really mean we need your info to scam you). Urgent matter regarding release of Government Fund<stop> (What they mean( Scam me). Estimates of funds(False funds) pending: $25,000.00. Fake. fake, fake. That's why I am giving thanks  to the creator, because i could see behind this so called " Government Funds" What it really was A SCAM!!!!!!.

For anyone out there don't fall for this scam> as others, on top of this list found out , DO NOT GET SCAM BY THIS FAKE COMPANY. AND NOW I REALLY THANK THE CREATOR BECAUSE OF THIS LETTER. I FOUND OUT THIS WEBSITE WHOCALLME.COM.  AND I PREVENT MY SELF OF FALLING FOR THIS SCAM.

Its  a total scam thanks to this sight they lost on having a chance on scaming another victim.

i recieved a letter with this number on it telling me i been approved for government funding. estimated funds pending 25,000. stated funds can be used at my discreation{bill payment,travel,continuing or advanced education,healthcare} They wanted me to confirm within 36hours by calling the number an giving them release code:3035.

Just received this great offer yesterday 2/20/09. Knew soon as I saw it, that it was a scam. Sure some people fall for it, but not me!!

I responded to an Internet offer to recieve info about Government grants, it cost me one dollar, I got nothing ro my dollar. Last week I noticed several unusual charges to my debit account - "identity protection" billed me 9.95 and GovFundGrant dinged me 29.95 this has happened several times of the past two months to the tune of 79.95 which I have in dispute with my bank.
My bank has been great about listening to my plight and tracking things down... buyer beware.

Immediately smelled fishy!!! Always go online to check out "to-good-to-be-true" information received in the mail or electronically.  It's a shame what people will do in hard times, but remember people are desparate... be cautious.

Got the same letter, Cannot believe people actually send these scum people money. There must be a-lot of uninformed people out there. But like many of

Received a postcard in the mail on or about February 21, 2009 with release code 3006 from a company that calls themselves "The G. F. Institute". Who are these people? They want me to take $69.00 (which I do not have available) from my bank account and send it to them. Please get back to me at the following e-mail address: John.Slobodin@Yahoo.com
