Well, they called again.  This time someone patched me through to the floor manager, and he took my number, repeated it so I knew that he (possibly) wrote it down.  He said it will take a day or two for it to be removed from the database.  If they call back within the next week, I'll post again.

Whomever this company is keeps calling my grandmother's house and asking for me.  How can I stop it?

I've been getting this call for a few days so I finally answered....they said that they wanted to help me re-establish my credit....they would give me a line of credit and deposit the funds directly to my bank account.  All I needed to do was give them my account number so they could verify that I have an active account. Of course I wasn't giving them that information so after about three trys to get it from me he thanked me and hung up.  THIS IS A SCAM....DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFO.

they call about every 30 minutes..do not leave a message..saw that they have called alot of people and it seems like a scam..

The call every 5 minutes it is very annoying

I just got the same phone call.  I just applied for a personal loan through my bank and was waiting for a decision when I got this phone call.  They said that I was referred to them through someone I had applied with - which of course they couldn't tell me who that was.  They then asked where my bank account was and what my account number was.  Fortunately I'm at work and told them I couldn't give them the information right now.  I was wondering why, if they were referred by my bank - which is the only loan I applied for - would they be asking me for my account number.  I then looked up the phone number and got to this website. After reading some of the comments on here, I now know that I won't be giving them any information at all.  But like someone else said, they already had my address and they called on my cell phone that I just got last week.  It's amazing how quickly your personal information can be spread around, isn't it?

Just Started getting these once a day. You need to find out who gave them your # and report them as well. Check your credit reports too. this is to make sure they are not running your credit report every time they call.

I received 2 calls today from this number.  I missed both calls.  I called back and was sent to a young man who answered "hello" he never did identify himself or the business.  I will not give any of my information to someone from a 1-866 number and I would advise that no one else does either.  If they do call back, I will demand to know how they got my personal number that I do NOT give out.  If they do continue to harass me I will take further action towards them. I will post again if I find out anything else.

I've been getting calls from this number for the last three days. I just don't answer as it would take minutes from my cell. But they are really starting to get annoying now. I'm about to answer in an irish accent and try to sell them some Guiness or something. Play their game back at them. Either that, or I'll just threaten to report them to the FCC.

ya these people call me when i asked to be taken off their list for some " credit building" bull [***]! first time the [***] said 48hrs I'd be off the list.  Then some other kid hung up on me when I asked to be taken off their list. NOW !I get a call this morning with some "your in the customer sweepstakes! More bull [***]! I wasn't even awake so I was just like.. ahhh how  did you get my number, their like .. trying to fish info. outta me like witch of your major credit cards is your favorite?  what are your hobbies?  WTF!!!!!

I just called and spoke to a MANAGER!!!  and she explained the "dialer" to me and assured me I'd be out of the system by 48hrs..She explained they got my number from some creditor that recently denied me and they are a credit building buissness.

Whatever, If you can call back and get a hold of anyone, my advice is to ask to talk to a manager.

This number just called me recently. so have a few others lately...and it's been going on for quite awhile.

tHIS IS ALL A FRAUD. tHEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT 79.76 AND IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE POSTAGE FOR A FREE TRIAL.

FRAUD! FRAUD! Hang up immediately if you are called and report them. It is a telemarketing firm for a bunch of different things.

This is a total pghishing scam. I just got a text from them. I called this number, intending to tell them I would report them to the police. I got a recording and the first thing they did was ask for my "card number" but they didn't even say which card. NEVER give out your card number unless you're 100% sure you know who you're talking with. This is a scam. Yuck. Get a job, people, quit trying to steal from the rest of us.

Call your phone provider to see if you have the option to have this number blocked.  Verizon Wireless does have this option.  I had this number blocked.

Got a phone call from this number today on my work blackberry.  Answered and all I got was heavy breathing followed by a hang up.  Not sure what the deal is there.

This number is the International Fellowship of Christians & Jews.  They keep calling us everyday.  I don't know why they keep calling.  We never called them for anything.  I wish they'd quit calling.
