- CaliI've received several calls from this # also. As a common practice I do not answer calls from number's I do not recognize and figure if it is important they'll leave a message -but they never do... I HAVE REGISTERED MY CELL# AT
www.donotcall.gov hopefully that takes care of all these unwanted calls. Unfortunately it takes 30 days to be enforced... check it out, it can't hurt! - RichThey called me like 4 times this morning, I finaly picked up and some women with attitude says she needs my bank info as far as routing and check number.
I told her I'm not giving you that, she said, Sir do you write a checks out? then i said goodbye [***] lol - TDI keep getting calls from this number too. I got sick of it so yje last time they called, I answered thed phone by saying " County Police Department, are you reporting acrime? no calls since
- Caller: Gold Card
- kerryThese freaks just started calling my home about 2 days ago. They've called about a dozen times, while I was out, and they never leave a messages - i just see the number on my caller I.D. They've also called a few times, when I was home.
When I answer the phone, they just remain on the line for about a second and then hang up. The last two times, I simply shouted some expletives and hung up, buy they continue calling here. I've never been so consistently harassed by a caller; so I typed the number into Google and came upon this site, as the first hit. You can imagine my surprise, when I began reading through all of these posts from people who are or were in the same situation as myself.
Glad I'm not alone.........However,the fact that they never say anything and wait for me to speak before hanging up is a bit creepy. - WildRiverDesign.netkeep getting a call from this number, 866-710-8746. Calling them back to see what they want and how they even got my number. Was on hold for several minutes then hold music went off and got a dial tone. Why does someone call but never respond when I pick up? Crazy! Let's send them emails, call them and send them letters.

- F**king stupidI just started getting these calls today, at about 8:30 in the morning. They called twice so far, I didn't answer either of them because I've never seen the number before. I called it back on using *67 to block my # just for the heck of it, and all I got was a beep. It didn't ring or anything.
- ReeYes, I pretty much Google'd the damn number also, and I also got this site, Lol. I was working today from the butt crack of dawn at 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and I [***] you not, these guys call me at least 1 - 2 times an hour. It IS frustrating trying to work with this thing going off. Turning my phone off for the day would be a logical thing to do, but there's no point in it, seeing as how I'd miss personal calls and/or text messages... =/ Seriously though, I just wonder how they do this? You would think that they'd have like 500,000 other numbers to call, but apparently not. I actually called them back once and I got some chick named Nancy and she kept asking if I was some woman named Debbie. I said, "No, stop calling." >_> And I still got the phone calls. Wtf. =| Glad I'm not the only one who's getting this miserable calls, hah hah. Has anyone here actually made the phone calls stop? Halp!!! Rofl.
- ReeMkay, follow up to my post that was about 30 minutes ago... Lol. This chick was actually pretty nice, listened to what I had to say (still asking for Debbie however, hah hah) and I just asked to be put off the list and she said, "Sure, thank you, and have a nice day." So hopefully, no more calls... x_x Although, it was a different number other than the "866" one... (Plus it sounded a LOT clearer, as opposed to my last one that had bad quality.)
Lol, Thank God they're all not [***]. =') - Lailani want to know how they get our numbers? I wonder if AT&T sells our numbers because both my home and cell phone are from AT&T and get calls every hor, sometimes even twice an hour!!! please helP!!!
- BOO<Mto get rid of these morons
you simply ask them for there social security card and drivers liscence in a high pitched chinese voice saying your aanswering an ad in the paper 25 dollar - SheenaThey were calling me everyday about 10 times and every time I'd pick up they'd hang up so, I called them back and it's a gold something something or other trying to tell me I was approved for credit. When I told the guy to take me off the list and I didn't appreciate them f*ing calling and hanging up on me he called me a B*tch and hung up on me... really professional. Anyways just call them back and tell them to take you off the list.

I found this info. on how to get them to stop calling:
Are You Getting Telemarketing Calls You Don’t Want?
Here's How to Stop Them
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) launched the National Do Not Call Registry to give Americans a choice about getting telemarketing calls at home. According to a recent Harris Interactive poll,92 percent of people who reported placing a number on the registry said they are receiving fewer calls; a total of 78 percent said they’re getting “far fewer calls” or none at all.
If you think you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, and you’re still getting telemarketing sales calls, the Federal Trade Commission recommends that you:
Check to see that your number is on the registry. You can verify that your number is on the registry two ways: online at DONOTCALL.GOV (click on “Verify A Registration”), or by calling 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236) from the phone number you wish to verify. Follow the prompts.
You also can add your number to the registry using the same Web site or phone number (call from the number you want to register). If you register online, you will receive an email from donotcall.gov as part of the confirmation process. You will need to click on the link in this email within 72 hours after you receive it. If you don’t click on the link in the email, the number you tried to register will not be added to the registry, and telemarketers may continue to call.
Understand that some calls are not covered. Once your number has been on the registry for 31 days, most telemarketing calls will stop. However, you still may get:
calls from — or on behalf of — political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors;
calls from companies with whom you have an existing business relationship. A company may call you for 18 months after you make a purchase or three months after you submit an inquiry or application;
calls from companies you’ve given permission to call.
File a complaint. If your number has been on the registry for at least 31 days, and a telemarketer calls, complain to the FTC. Visit DONOTCALL.GOV or call 1-888-382-1222 (TTY1-866-290-4236). You’ll need to provide the date of the call and the phone number or name of the company that called you.
The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop, and avoid them. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing, identity theft, and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad. - KathyThis is the 2nd call from these people and I asked them to please stop calling my cell number
