They call me twice a day every day.  I am never going to answer it.

Called my cell at 8am on a Sunday. A message said they were Interstate Debt Collection then a man answered then the call was disconnected. These guys sound like they need to be stopped

We got a new home phone number last year Almost immediately we started getting collections calls for Melissa Calderwood and Shawn Demele [sp] We do not know them, nor are we related to them. I repeatedly told that to the people who call my home from this number : 866-720-1471. This morning, I filed a complaint with the FTC:  https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
Called the company, and offered them my complaint number. They claim to have taken my number out of their database....but this is the 4th time they have told me this.It's one thing for them to harass a deadbeat [and Melissa IS a deadbeat, she gave my number to a medical office just a few weeks ago,and they called looking for payment, so she is lying on purpose] but it's another all together to harass an innocent bystander. The name of the company is Allied Interstate. If you are a debtor, you have rights also. I suggest you go to ftc.gov and read up, make sure you are not being abused by the jerks at allied.

I've been getting calls from this number daily for weeks. They never, ever leave a message, and I'm certainly not going to answer. Jerks.

I've received calls on my cell phone from this # during 8/30/10 - 9/4/10, 8:06 AM - 4:51 PM. No voicemail was ever left.

Since 18 Aug 2010, they called 38 times. They are thieves trying to empty your bank account into their bank account. Don't give them any information whatsoever. I have a Panasonic DECT phone so have them on Call Block; this party will never get through. We have the phone so it audibly announces "THIEVES-DON'T ANSWER" when this party calls. These jerks can call all they want and we'll never answer. They're worse than bottom-feeders. I despise them.

Got a call on my home and cell# at 805 in the morning.  Wanted a past due amount for AOL.  Told them I still have AOL and he argued with me saying no I don't.  Told him to give me his email address and I would email him from MY AOL account.  He hung up.  AOL might want to know their current customers are being harassed early in the morning.  Total scam......don't fall for it.

This company calls at least 4 times a day.  They never leave a message.  We just got the phone number they are calling and I just called them back.  Some lady that did not speak clear English kept wanting personal information and I hung up on her.

It is against the fair credit law to set a phone for auto dial to harass people.   Find a fair credit lawyer if it continues and it will go away and they will be fined.

They called me on Monday, Oct. 26 at 6:41 p.m., Oct.21 a 6:41 p.m., Oct. 23 at 8:31 a.m.,
Oct. 25 at 8:21 a.m. 1:33 p.m., 4:36 p.m.,7:38 p.m.,  and all of this on a cell phone that I only use for emergencies.  I am getting more calls when I hang up on them.  I am ready to get a different phone.  I have had my share of calls from collectors since I acquired this phone number when I purchased Trac Fone.

Everybody who have posted  above comments are correct on the contrary but u should know that allied interstate is a legitemate debt collection agency headquartered at columbus ohio, it has 21 centres all across the world and it is america's second largest collection agency.The collections are done not only fr america but fr australia, canada,uk and other countries as well.
  AOL is one of the clients and collectios are done in india , technically the # is dialled from U.S and thru VOIP forwarded to india centre , all calls are based on a dialer and are nt dialled fron INDIA ,so dont panic if AOL is fraud complain them as why they have gvn ur acc within collections (aol # 8008664214).
  TRUTH:-  THEY DO REPORT TO UR CREDIT BUREAU IF U DONT PAY YOUR BILLS .
                 SO PAY UR BILL AND GET OUT OF THE CALLS .

This number keeps calling my cellphone every morning. I answered once no one responded so I hung up and never answer again. I don't have a debt whatsoever so I don't have any business with them if they are a collection agency as mentioned here.

Oh yeah...that's totally not part of the scam.  They did that on another board, too. I highly doubt aol was just trolling around looking for this. Do not trust these dirtbags.

These MORONS keep calling my 12 yr old son's cell phone. They answered when I called (with my # blocked) and admitted they WERE Allied and in India! Idiots!! They have been warned!

Me again. These people have called my son 6 times in two weeks (that I know of)! Son just informed me that on the occasion in which he actually answered, a "Michael" CLAIMED HE WRECKED THIER CAR!  Amazing, since he has no license OR car.. SINCE HE IS ONLY 12!! WTF?!?

My husband and I have NEVER been in a car accident!  Give me a break!! How can we screw these people... Excuse me, I mean [***]!  Get a REAL job!  Losers!
