This number calls my cell phone and my home phone twice a day everday for the last three months.  They do not leave a message.

Like many others I to have started getting calls from 866-720-1471.  When I answer there is no response..  A couple of days ago someone did answer and his accent was so thick I could not understand what he was saying.  He sounded like he was from Pakistan.  I finally figured out after asking him to repeat everything he was saying 4 to 5 times that he was trying to collect for AOL.  I told him I cancelled the service in Dec. of 2010 and he argued the point that I still owed $59.00.  I don't understand how I could owe any late balance since they were charging my credit card monthly for the service.  If they expect me to pay after I cancelled they can take a flying leap.

They call everyday around the same time and never leave a messege... But when i do pick up it is about bogass debt

i got a call from them this morning but i didnt answer and they left NO message so i think the next time they call i am going to answer and give them this site and let them know that we are on to them!!

Got a no-name blank message 1 second long from this number. Looked it up, saw the comments here, Saw your video, above.  Blocked the number. Thanks.

Man with a foreign accent asked for my husband and said it was personal business.  Wanted to know if we lived at an old address.  I refused to give it to him.  He refused to tell me the nature of the personal business.  I told him if he refused to tell me, I would refuse to talk to him.  I hung up.

Caller ID said "Allied Interstate".  Not recognizing the number, I did not answer, but then gave them a call back.  A live person answered and asked what I wanted.  I said that I had received a call but had been disconnected.  She looked up the number and said they were trying to reach "Karen".  I said there was no one here by that name, so she said "I will remove this number from our database".  I asked what the call was regarding, and she said that it was personal for Karen.  It sounds to me as if the other comments about it being either a fake, or irreputable collection agency are probably true.

Called early Sunday morning and woke me up, only to hang up when I said hello.  Seems to be mass dialing operation of a sort.

Received two calls from this number - rejected both times no message was left, anyone know who it is?

I am recieving daily calls from this number and when I answer they hang up.  When I don't answer they don't leave a message.  Who are they?

They keep calling , I counted 17 times on my caller id and they never leave a message.  I finally called back to see who it was.  They asked for my husbands sisters in-law.  We have never lived with her.  Plus, they asked for her in her maiden name!  She has been married for 20 years!!  They claim they will remove us from the list.  But, I'm not getting my hopes up.

The number in question belongs to Allied Interstate (note: not Allied International - totally different company). Call Allied Interstate at 866-526-7795 to complain or have your number removed.

Calls 3-5 times daily, every day.  Leaves NO message.  SO annoying.  Another GREAT example of the No Call List epic failure.  PLEASE STOP!!!

This number has called several times today. Finally I answered them b/c I'm tired of the collection calls for the person who previously had this number. I couldn't understand a word the guy said, and usually I'm pretty good with the middle eastern accents. I hung up and called the number right back to try to get off their list, but I couldn't understand a word he said either. Geesh, if they're trying to collect on something, you'd think they'd at least speak a little bit of English.
