I had a message on my machine at work today asking that you call Mrs. Brown at 866-811-1159 ext 4040

Record their conversation and get a consumer attorney and sue them. They end up paying YOU[and your attorney]. They are not doing it legelly.

This firm is not a Law firm.  Fred J. Hanna the lawyer for the firm, a/k/a Fredrick J. Hanna & Associates his law school Woodrow Wilson School of Law went out of business 1987.  There is some questions as to the valitity of his law degree take into consideration of the location of the fly by night law school  Georgia?  All you do there is take a 2 yrs course and the the bar exam if you pass and become a member adhoc to the bar association in Georgia, pay dues then hang you  sign and get some cards printed and you are a self made lawyer.  This is what they call a bang out collection agency.  They never remit the funds to the client.  Also you don't need a business license to be a collection agency in  Georgia and not required to have a business bond.   Bang out means they take written off accounts from someone inside a company like Chase who is making a little cash on the side giving them all your information and they are insulated from any suit because they can close the doors tomorrow and open up under another name. Also then pay a small fee to an attorney to use his name on paper to send you official looking letters to use scare tactics.  TELL THEM TO POND SAND!  OH ONE MORE THING THEN WORK OUT OF A LITTLE CHEAP 700 Square Foot Strip shopping Center on Rosewell Rd. Between Mc D's and Willie Bar "B" Que....that is all they can affort from the rif raf they hire.  No one there uses there real names so don't waste your time.  Hire a PI to conduct surveillence of the place get tag number the call the FTC or The Stare Attorney General's Office Eonomic Crime Unit.

Nice ignorant statement there, collector.  Did you not read that most of these people don't owe anything, and half of them are answering calls aimed at someone else and keep getting harassed anyway?

Well done Bill Woods. Why are collection lackeys trolling here? My guess it's not the top producers ranting in here. I smell desperation. My guess is that most are high school dropouts who have absolutely no idea what the FDCPA is. I say this because they violate just about everything in Section 805. I have determined all they know how to do is call with an aggressive attitude demanding  payment of an outstanding debt. When I informed different individuals on a couple of occasions of my intentions to file Chapter 7. Was told Chapter 7 would now discharge my debt. I might as well have been trying to teach chimpanzees to repair the space shuttle. Their lowbrow Neanderthal tactics are laughable. Keep calling till I decide to have my ch. 7 paperwork filed. I might even wait till the end of summer. I love hearing your panic stricken voices on my voice mail. I just picture some a$$ like Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross yelling at them every day. Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired. I just loved that part.

These people keep calling me but i never answer my phone. I don't know what they want.

Some [***] I've never heard of named Aussie McComb called my neighbor, an old lady who lives alone, and lied about having a conversation with me recently.  I called the number back to confirm that he works there and left a message not to call this lady again.  After reading all this, im convinced these people are bottom feeding [***].  It would be great if someone that read this had a computer dial them all day and night to tie up their phone so that they can stop calling others.

there's an idea, get a machine that ties up their phone line by calling them no stop, why don't you just charge it on a credit card....then not pay...seems funny to me that you have a computer, have internet, but can't pay the credit card bill that bought those for you in the first place.....

I am continuously receiving calls from this Frederick J. Hannah company. I answered the phone the first time they called, but haven't since. A woman  told me that they know all of my debts and assets, and that they know where me and my husband work and are going to start garnishing our wages. These people are scum. Don't give them any information.

If they are calling you.....Who is the real scum?  You are just mad because you have made some bad decisions or some bad financial planning and you can't make the payments on those new leg warmers or that new playstation 3 that you really didn't need.  Let's be real here...They are calling for a reason...Be nice, explain the situation and try to fix it..Good luck Wendy..

I called and asked for him and was asked if I had a letter. I lied and said no and she said you have to have one if you're asking for Dennis Henry. I said no, I just want to speak to him and she got mad and demanded a letter and case #. I said, "So, there is NO Dennis E. Henry, that's just a collection name. It's a false identity and a fraudulent letter." I know I owe money, but not as much as they want and the settlement is way more than the card offered. I spoke to a rep earlier and she laughed at me when I said I was returning to school and I told her to keep laughing, because I was where she was not long ago and I do know that you never laugh at people going up the ladder, because one day you're going to fall down on them. She got mad and hung up. Nice! Let 'em sue. I will petition Mr. Henry to court.

Lynne,  I worked for Hanna, Dennis Henry is an attorney in the GA office.  He is a real person, and he will show up in court.  But that isn't how Hanna operates.  They will forward your file to an attorney in your area to sue you.  You will be dealing with someone else at court.  You should try and work with them.  They can go to 50 % of the balance....Good luck, if you got a letter from Henry, you are weeks away from being sued or garnished....

so should i answer there calls or just ignor them ....the might call my employer but it illegal as i saw in the fair debt rights...what should i do?

Marc, you should answer the calls, and it isn't illegal for them to call you at work, and if you don't, then they will call to verify your employment, which is really embarrasing

Poor, even though you say you have credit solutions working on it, the reality is that they aren't returning hannas calls, so they are going to keep calling you

You idiots should look in the mirror and realize that you are running from your debts...You made a bunch of charges and got behind and now you are scrambling to feel better about yourselves!! First, Thanks for everyone information about the caller from the said phone number. She Started out very nice siting who she was (mrs Coleman). Who she's with and Who they are representing. Instead of me going on with my phone conversation which basically the same as what I have read from this posting. She started th treaten me to contact my employment and start garnishing my pd-rolls. She started to said that Debt Consolidation company is bad and they are not good for me. I need to stop doing business with them and start paying the creditors. I'm going thru a divorce and money is tight (S...) If I could make the pd-mnt I would have done it already. I did not want to file bankruptcy. In retrospect, maybe I should have the headache will be less servered (lol)...Thanks for the input every one.
