It sounds as if you are extremely stressed trying to make a living, perhaps without a formal degree?  Threatening someone "while asleep" does not sound like good intent.  I would suggest counseling and perhaps reduce your debt so that you do not have to struggle to make as much money.

Life should be so simple.  Perhaps becoming more knowledgeable of banking and accepting payment in full could enlighten you?  Please post your background and level of education.

Calls are coming in from Frederick J. Hanna & Assoc's.  They are aware I have a legal representative and paid any account I had off.  FJH & Assos.'s continue to ignore the directive from my legal representatives to forward any and all correspondence directly to them.  Rather odd, isn't it?

Clowns like this are funny.  Why would this person be at this forum if they either didn't owe money or were in fact a deadbeat collector.  Nobody here really cares about your opinion.

At 6:30p on 3/16/11, my wife and I fot a call from a lady named Takila Williams representing Hanna & Associates.  She didn't mention Law Offices of Frederick J.  She first asked my wife to confirm who she was and my wife confirmed it.  When my wife asked her why she was calling, Takila stated I need you to confirm more personal info before I can tell you.  My wife refused to confirm anything.  Then I got on the phone and the same process occurred.  However, I then asked her to at least be vague or general as to why she is calling.  She stated, "I told you Hanna & Associates."  I thought....No stupid!  I asked why not who!  She then went on to to say, "I need to confirm other info because I don't know if I am really talking to John......."  I then stated well you are the one calling me at my number so it should be obvious.  I then gave her my attorney's name & phone number.  End of call for now.

05/05/11 I got a call from a Victor Web at the law offices of Frederick J. Hanna & Associates. he was looking for someone related to one of our co-workers.  I advised him to stop calling our work number as the person he is looking for does not work for us nor is a part of our business. The a**h*** refused to back down even though I advised him that this was a business number.  I did advise that I would persue a complaint against them with the proper federal agency that deals with collection agents like his company.  If I continue to receive a call, I will persue harrassment charges. This happened at  6 pm, pst.

I think it is wonderful that you you challenged them and one!  Finally some justice.  I would love to learn more about how you did that since I believe I am going to end up in court as well.  I would love for you to contact me at dangergirl630@aol.com

BTW Collector, Most of us in debt don't choose to be in debt! In my case I had a good job. I always paid on time and many times paid more than minimum payment required . Then I lost my job.When you lose your job(like me) and settle for another job with a pay cut and medical bills pile up, and even got a second part-time job to fill the gap you do the smart thing ,close your credit card accounts out and pay what you can afford! Before you brag about how much you make and work in collections,stop and think before you say!  It just goes to show people are right when they say bill collectors are cold-hearted!

A "Tyrone Carter" keeps calling me.  He is quite rude.  He wants inormation on my son who hasn't live here for 35 years.  It is so annoying.

I don't know about what other people do & what their particular situation is, but do NOT assume that everyone who has a bill collector call them has been shirking their responsibility to pay their bills on purose.  In my case, for instance, I wound up disabled. Having applied for Social Security Disability and not having been accepted yet, I have no income. I HAD been paying my bills and when I could no longer work and realized I would have trouble continuing to pay my bills, I tried a payment arrangement with them. Unfortunately, their "minimum" arrangement was much more than I could possibly afford, so I decided to pay them less than their arrangement required (and told them so) but I did not stop paying them. They decided to send me to an unscrupulous bill collector, anyway, who doesn't accept payment arrangements, either. So it looks like I may have to declare bankruptcy. I don't want to,  I would rather pay my bill. But these sleezebags are forcing my hand. I used to be a bill collector and I know the drill. If you're nasty you don't get as much as when you're firm but nice. And if someone is willing to make payments, you're STUPID not to take them. In this economy, if that person is willing to pay, let them!  Not everyone whose bills wind up in collections is there because they just don't want to pay! Stop thinking everyone is the same! Some sleazy bill collectors do NOT obey the FTCPA and try to scare and intimidate people, which is against the law. While there are people going around purposely not paying their bills, there ARE good people out there who through NO FAULT of their own can no longer pay bills theu incurred months ago when things were good. If you think you're so high and mighty, I suggest you stop pntificating and begin to take a hard look in the mirror!

These people call my home AND cell phone.  I don't answer and sometimes they leave a message, other times they don't.  I have no intention of answering or calling them back.

I have been getting calls for several years from "debt collectors", but I do NOT answer. ALL of my debt was discharged in Federal Bankruptcy Court eight years ago. I even spoke to my bankruptcy attorney 2 years ago about the calls, and he assured me of this. So now I am getting calls from this number, as well as Hannah's 770-area code number. Again, I am NOT answering. If they really had a case, they would have sent me something in the mail by now, but neither they nor previous so-called collectors have ever mailed me ANYTHING.  These low-lifes buy up old debt for pennies on the dollar, hoping some poor scared person will take them for legit. They are NOT legit.  BEWARE:  Once you agree to start making payments, you will re-set the clock on your old debt, even if it was discharged in court. The rules may vary from state to state, but DO NOT play their game!  And do NOT answer calls from numbers you do not know!! That's why you have caller i.d. in the first place.

Asked my name, and address. With the address he said must got the wrong person. If he from a real law firm,
they would of said, their name. No name was said as to the caller.  Also he asked for my date of birthday.
He would not tell my husband, or myself when asked what this was all about. Was not on the up & up to me.

Look up 1427 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30062 on Google streetview.  Hanna has got about 8 cameras on the front of the building.  Must be worried about people coming over.
