To "A COLLECTOR":  How RUDE OF YOU!!  You showed your TRUE colors here, by posting on a COMPLAINT FORUM!  You really are showing how bad you "collectors" are...with HARASSMENT, THREATS, THROWING AROUND LEGAL TERMS, ETC.  Get off your high horse!!

Plain and Simple ALL collections people are scum and this law firm is the bottom feeder in the scum pond. Most debt are to old to collect or don't actually exhist. If you get a call from these people ask them not to call again, send them a certified letter stating that the debt is over 7 years or is not yours and contact the FTC because they are breaking the law. If they put something on your credit report sue them. We need to drive scumbags like this and others out of business using the law that they hide behind against them.

To the person who is a collector who stated that she/he makes $80k a year.... if you want to make your money by harassing people, go ahead, but karma is a tough thing and hopefully you will lose your job and be on the street very soon.

Yea they constantly call me as well. They had the audacity to tell me to apply for a loan to pay them. I told them why would I apply for a loan to pay their extra rude behinds when I have loans out for school? They told me they would garnish my wages...WHAT WAGES?!??!!! I am a broke, out of school college graduates. If BoA is getting bailouts I feel we Americans should get bailouts. One woman was even like, "I've been where you are and its not a nice place to be". I told her well, you should tell BoA not to give credit cards to a 17yr old. Hell my mom lost her job and I had to pay for school.

I receive these calls non stop. At first I tried to talk to them, but they extremely rude. I have told them that I will not deal with them if they are gonna be rude to me. Its not my fault that I got laid off from my good job. Its the fault of greedy people like "collecter" and others like them in positions of power.  I am trying to paymy bills, it just hard when you losse 2500.00 a month off your income.

I have recieved a call from this # yesterday and today asking for some guy that I do now know and the rude guy on the other end of the phone insist that I do know him.  I tried to explain that I do not know who this guy is, but he was very rude saying that he was going to keep calling until I let him talk to him.  I own a hair salon and my cell phone is my buisness phone. He even had the nerve to tell me that I did not own a salon that it was a cover up for the guy he was trying to reach!  So weird!  And he is nasty!  He has never told me what he wanted with this guy other than to talk to him. He has never even said who or what company he is working for.

I received 14 calls from Fredrick J Hannah and Associates within a 24 hour period. I am working with a debt consolidation agency that is very well known and has a very good record - and they keep assuring me that they will be able to come to "some type" of settlement with them. they are so rude and threatening that I can hardly sleep at night. I filed 2 complaints with the Federal Trade Commission. I have always paid my debts and never been late with payments until now and am trying to help myself - with FJH and Ass. I am scared I will be taken to court and everything else - they even called to verify my employment - people keep telling me they can't just start garnishing my wages with no other "steps" but it worries me.
I do not know you can sleep at night being one of the collectors at this agency - unbelievable trying to make people feel like sh** when they are TRYING to at least pay most of thier debt without living under a bridge.  VERY VERY RUDE - never had anyone in my life treat me like these people!My particular harasser was "April" and she has to go home daily thinking "man, this job makes me feel like crap!" - if she doesn't, she has no conscience!

I ripped off my credit cards for over 100k and all these idiots can do is harass me by phone.   I highly encourage everyone to do this.

I received a call from a Deborah at x4134 asking to speak to a James. Told her no James has ever lived here, then she asked if I was so and so, which was me! She apologized and said she had my address and phone # listed for a JTI Construction company and that she will remove me from her list. What is this all about? Will she remove me or keep calling? IT'S NOT ME!!!

I had a tumor on my spine and had back surgery and I am unable to get to work. I earn a living doing day trading for a company but it is not nearly what I was earning.  There was a lot of medical expenses that I had to charge on credit cards because my insurance would not cover the medical costs.  I think God that I live in Texas. In Texas they can NOT garnish your wages or touch any assets.  The only thing that they can get is a “judgment” and that doesn’t mean anything in Texas.  It will just go on your credit report, but if you don’t sign for any certified letters or answer the door, they can’t serve you with papers to get the judgment.  GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!!!

We received a voice mail message from them.  We pay all our bills on time, so I called them back, being concerned about possible identity theft.  They agreed they were calling the wrong person, and stated that they would remove our number from their list and not continue to call.  They were polite and professional.  Assuming that we get no more calls, I have no complaints.

For everyone that has received calls from Frederick J Hanna stating that you need to contact John Daly I just want you to know that there is no such thing as John Daly in that company. It's just a manager with a strong voice that records the message that they send out on the dialer.

When these "customer service reps" call, they never identify the company they are with they just ask for a certain person that does reside here.And of course that person is ALWAYS at work. So if they cannot get ahold of that person here, they call that person's cell phone IMMEDIATELY hanging up with me. I know this because this person's cell phone sometimes gets left home.  Last night the "rep" by name of "Rosie" called and spoke with this person (however, this person pretended to be someone else just to find out what "Rosie" wanted) and all "Rosie" told this person was that "it's a "personal" matter. Nothing more, nothing less. After this person hung up with "Rosie" they told me that if people who are calling cannot give more information on what they want, what company they are from etc then that person is not going to talk to them. I would find it quite funny to turn the tables on them to be able to find out all about THEM and make the conversation backfire on them.
Hmm maybe I should use some of my Psychology techniques, maybe the Freudian theories will work???

Got a call from this 866 811-1159 and a voice mail message.  When I called back to find out what this was about, it took no longer than 15 seconds for the woman on the other end working for this boiler room collection company to start screaming at me.  She doesn't even know me and I was not at all impolite to her.  When I asked her to "please stop screaming", she screamed even louder and whatever she said, I could not understand. If this person reflects the norm of the staff of Fred Hannah and Associates, it's too late already. There are psychological issues surrounding the policies of this company. Their conduct is unruly and you might as well be calling a lock down unit in the local "State Mental Hospital". No doubt they hire their staff out the general population of a twisted facility and......... beware people,they eat their young. I will never call them back nor receive a call from them.

Seriously??  you sound like a collector for sure.  rude, annoying, and cocky.  How do you know that something hasnt happened to someone to cause them to be in this position.  how dare you judge that someone might do this on purpose.  I hope you are someday put in the same position. you A$$hole

These people are scum. Do you get paid extra for posting on these boards why you harass people all day? Like anyone on here should feel sorry for these people. Do you know how these scum make money? They just received huge bonuses from the taxpayers, while paying out bonuses for the top execs under the guise of providing the economy a service. Let me clue you in the only thing they have provided was a legal ponzi scheme that robs Peter to pay Paul. Go talk to a bankruptcy and tell them to stuff it. Don't feel guilty for falling behind, because these scumbags creating money out of thin air caused half the problems these people face on this board ie unemployment etc. Spare us all the if you pay your bills nonsense. When you take risks you have to pay for them. Write offs and Bad debt are all wrote into these scum of the earth revenue models. Look how much these saints make alone on rip off fees. Sympathy PLEASE. Luckily consumers have a write off as well. It's called bankruptcy so use it and don't let these idiots make you feel bad about it.

Unfortunately, this outfit represents Tarp Money Banks; such as: CitiBank, BofA, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan/Chase, Capital One and others.  Consumers don't have Tarp Money to get them back on track and invest like these institutions then pay off their debt.

Consumers don't have a Tarp fund to help them out a financial hole and these companies who took billions from the taxpayers are know having companies like Frederick J. Hanna & Associates to collect their debts.  It reminds me of the story of the man in the bible who jailed his debtors for not paying him after he was freely forgiven of his debts by another man.  

It's shameful how these company operate like hypocrites.

Got a call from them today concerning my parents debt...The caller identified themselves as a person from the law firm of Fredrick J. Hannah.

They gave me an extension number to call them at when I could pass the # on to my mother. I figured that it was this type of debt collection agency, and it seems that it was.

I have tried to work with them and they will not settle, oferring them60%, which is everything that I have.  I just can't give them anymore.  Do you know the best way to get them to settle?  I am not a deadbeat....suffering from job loss and this crazy economy.

I settled my debt with them for 40%. I guess it depends on who you speak to or work with. I spoke with a manager jessica and she really worked with me. i tried going thru a debt management program and got screwed out of all my money.....i hope you guys know that you cant get this off your credit unless you pay these people and they will sue you. my friend had a lien put on her house for a 30k credit card debt. my advice is to ask for a manager and work with them....sure is better than getting harrased, having all of your coworkers, neighbors and family know you dont pay your bills
