got a call wed,the person on the phone said he was calling form 866-945-4973 and said he was calling form ccs collections agency. said he was calling to collacton auto insurance I did not paid to farmer I called farmer in october
and told them to cancel my insurance and sent a letter telling them to cancel my incurance the man on the phone told me I would have to paid the insurance and I would have to keep insurance on my car I don"T have the car any more he was trying to tell me what to do with my money and telling me I could not cancel the insurance on my car I would have to paid framer anyway here is today sunday and they or calling today and I thank some one should do some thang to stop this CCS

I want these calls to stop ASAP

It's from CCS Collections. If you listen to the call (not the voice mail) it will give you a file number. Go to warningnotice.com and click on 'message'. Put in your phone number, then file number. I was skeptical but I figured they already had my number so what's the difference.

Turned out it was my old car insurance company that hired them to collect. So I guess it's not a scam. They had my name and the name of the ins co.

Seems legit as far as I can tell, altho my ins. co. actually owes ME, but at least now I can get the calls to stop.

I get the call... have been getting it for about a year now... used to be 2 or 3 times a week... now it's like once every couple of weeks. The name they say in the message isn't me so I haven't worried about it. I just delete the messages. I will say it's very annoying, but I've gotten pretty used to it!

Call all hours, do not leave messages, always asks for someone who does not have this number!  I want them to STOP!

I had called Farmer's insurance back in jan to get a quote on car insurance. the guy sent me about 4 different quotes. I decided i didnt want to go with them. next thing i know, i receive a bill saying i owe them over $700 for a policy i never even signed papers for. i called them they got it cleared up. then i get a notice from this company ccs collections talking bout i owe farmers $60 for the cancelled policy. and they insist i had to pay because i was covered with them for that short period of time, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING. but these ppl sure did get an ear full from me...LOL

this is a very disturbing call, and I am on Do Not Call list, but it keep coming

Received a call from this telephone number. No info given. Just refer to File #060XXXXXXXX. Who are these people? Any info would be appreciated.

I am getting mail from warning notice that i owed an insurance bill, i called my insurance co. and they told me not to respond to this mail, they are just trying to get money which is not legal, strickly a scam, if you are getting such mail report them immediately

These ppl keep calling right first name wrong last name. When I go to th website its not even valid.
If this is so damn important leave a fricken message that is what they made machines for. Your number is on the no call list, If this persists you will be listed under the bbb for harrassment. When this is done You will owe US $$$$.

I finally answered one of these annoying calls and listened to the outrageous message regarding a debt I owe. I don't owe ANYbody ANYthing for once in my life!  After reading a few of your posts, I guess they made a mistake calling me, too.  I'll keep checking your blog to see how I can stop the calls.

Stop these calls. I can't even find out who these people are or what they want. Maybe an attorney can find out. Stop wasting my time.

Yea, pretty sure these guys are nothing important. I got my iPhone last week and the day I got it and activated it I started getting calls from these douchers. Also, checked out the warningnotice.com site and `Web-of-trust' alerted me that it is a known scam site with a horrible reputation. I recommend ignoring them since complaining does us no good at all and takes us no-where. I find it kind of funny that with my last phone number it was a church that flooded me with automated messages and no way to remove my number from the call list.

I recieved a message at work. It was automated and stated that they are an agency trying to collect a personal debt. The automated voice said my full name and asked that I call them back. First of all I never list my work # on anything due to the fact that its a business line. I list my cell phone on everything and haven't revieved any calls from this number on my cell, which doesn't make sense. By law debt collectors have no right to call your place of business. My HR manager has been trying to get them to remove our number from their calling list but has had no sucess getting thru to do so. I find it very strange and somewhat scary that they found my employment info like that. Im sure it has to be illegal.

This no. belongs to CCS, I believe is a collection agency for Farmers Insurance Company.  I cancelled the policy couple months ago, they keep saying I still have a balance of $43 somthing..

who is calling and what company are they calling for
