Does Anyone know the email contact for this Low Life Place of Business ~ Like where in the world do they legally get off pretending to be of judicial representation!~ As well does anyone have any idea how to file a Legal Complaint against them for Harassment/False Representation/violationFDCPA/as well FTC and they seem to always find the relative and NOT person they seem to be on the Prowl for!~ LOWEST OF THE LOW IF YOU ASK ME........is this What America has truned into, anything OK for a buck. File a complaint with FTC (FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSON) I just got a call today, spoke to one of the dirtbags...and basically told them to take a hike. the "debt" is over 13yrs old, no information was ever sent to me, but yet I'm being threatening by a pending lawsuit?? after doing my own research, i called THEM back and left messages for them. told them i contacted my attorney and would be filing a lawsuit AGAINST THEM, and also filed a complaint....haahaa, let's see how THEY like it! don't let them scare you....they're full of sh*t.

This number called me and got real nasty with me because I wouldnt give them my bank info for an old account i owed on in 1996.This crap cant be legal at all

I have 3 calls from today it was Nicole Lucus now a few weeks ago same voice only it was Noel Lucas Stating she was from Legal Action Services and a civil complaint had been lodged against me and I had to call her back immediately to resolve this matter while still under investigation. Then she went onto say that my blatent disregard for this phone call would result in a default judgement being served against me maybe. Now I am real scared right. They are putting the matter on hold for 24 hours. I may call her back and ask to record the conversation for legal purposes.  Thoughts? Mary

Got a call from this number which came through as "Toll Free". A woman, who called herself Investigator Pennington, (a bit mumbled), left a message saying "this number was left as a contact number for. . . "  The first name not mine, last name mine - a very common last name. She was calling about a "civil complaint filed in her office as well as your county", then she gave an "affidavite number". It was obvious that she was reading the message, there wasn't anything nuanced about her voice and she'd pause to swallow. I went to "whocallsme.com" and, after reading the previous  messages, realized it was just another telemarketer scam. I owe no money, I have no outstanding debts, so this will just be another number we'll ignore.

Have received multiple calls because a relative apparently had some debt.  These folks are operating outside the law!

I have received two messages from this number (877-209-5454).  It's a black, female voice.  She states her name is Investigator Pennington.  She tells me there has been a Civil Complaint launched against me and that I must return her phone call to prevent further legal action.  She gives me a case number (case #71406) and a direct extention number (ext. 112).  In the first message, she states a summons will be delivered to me at my home or place of work if I do not return the call.  In the second message, she states there has been a 48 hour "hold" placed on my case and further legal action will take place if I don't return the call within that time frame.  She even makes reference to the case being filed in Barnwell County, which is my hometown.  It can sound very real and threatening.  However, the woman "told" on herself with her tone of voice during the second message.  She sounded very rude and somewhat annoyed by having to leave a message.  The tone in her voice alerted me; and I started to think this may be a scam.  At that point, I came to the Internet and found all of these comments.  Thanks to you all for reporting your issues with this number.  Let's get these idioits and put them under the jail house!

I got a telephone call from Investigator Cook.  He said that I didn't call him back in 72 hours, a civil suit will be filed against me in the county in which I live. This information is being reported to the Better Business Bureau.  Can't wait to see what this is aout.

This phone number contacted my mother, my ex-step father of over 25 years and who knows who else stating that I needed to contact him within the next 72 hrs in ref to a legal matter. There is no legal matter, when I contacted them and informed the company that I am not to be contacted any more and that I have filed a case with the FTC they told me to do whatever I needed to do and then hung up on me. Everyone please be aware that this number is a scam.

They called 2 separate times and left a message each time. I saved the messages and played them back. It was the same guy using a different name each time. That's just too funny.

I received a similar call from "Investigator Roberts" leaving a message on my answering machine that  that a civil suit was being filed against my 83 year old mother in her County.  My mother and I live in different states.  When I called back for more info he was very nasty.  I was transferred to "Victor" who played the "good cop", very sympathetic and willing to work with me.  I also was given a "case number".  The alleged debt was from 1991.  I admit I panicked until "Victor" told me he would hold off on the summons if I provided him with personal information.  "Victor" does not have the authority of hold off a summons once it has been filed.  FRAUDS...........

First off, they have no collection licence to do collections. the name of the company, LEGAL ACTION RECOVERY, is just an umbrella company that is not even a real company. they operate out of an office in buffalo n.y and tell people they are calling from georgia. The actual name of the company is Global central manegment and and are located at 3060 bailey ave buffalo n.y. the real office phone number is 716-566-9067 and is owned by at least three people. Time and time again my friend talks about how they threaten people with law suits that will never take place. she also say's that no matter how much the debt is for real, they add all kind's of money on top of the actual bill. Just out of curiosity I looked them up on the web and this is what I found. I myself work for a real collection agency and people like this give us all a bad name. I do think the debts are valid from what I hear but nobody will actually file a claim against anyone. Give them a call and ask for walter hargrove. He is the one behind the scam and was put in jail for beating up his pregnant girlfriend. All the owners have been to prison at at time or another mostly for selling drugs. Clearly none of them know how to earn a living without ripping people off.If you have dealings with this company, I would have to say contact the athoritys in buffalo n.y. Enough complaints will no doubt lead to legal action against them and to get shut down.I hope you have not been a victim of these people and if everybody works together, more people will not. One small token of advice,  Any time a collection agency makes a false threat of a law suit, that is an automatic 1000.00 for the person called and lawyers will take that case quick. How do you get ahold of these people? i just tried to call to let them know this months payment will be late and their # is fake they arent listed and i have let them garnish over $500 from my acct, they called my ex in laws that live on the other side of the country saying they are special agent whatever and there is a civil suit against me and if i do not contact them immediately they are goin to come to my work... how embarassing for something i thot was taken care of 5 years ago something has to be done this is bs

I have sadly been making paymentgs to them for 8 months. i went to contact this number to ask a question and it is a busy tone. i called my local BBB and they told me they are a real company, i contacted the department of finance and they have no record of this company and they have no license to collect. THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE SAYS THIS COMPANY IS A FRUAD!!!!!! Dont do anything with them.  Don't be like me and screwed out of 450 dollars because i thought i was owing up to a bill.

i am in the same boat. the dept of finance told me its a scam.  close your bank accounts or whatever. u should contact your local dept of finance and see what they say. got to www.ftc.gov and file a complaint its legal action recovery 1640 powerferry rd bldg 2 ste 300b marietta ga 30063. its sucks i lost 450, before i to tried to call them.
