It was Synchrony Bank, probably formerly known as GE Capital. I recently purchased a mattress at Sleep Train. They were thanking me for the purchase and gave me a rundown on my account. Not SPAM. First time I say that a call is legitimate.

Just verifying what someone else posted about Discount Tire.  I opened an account for 0% interest for 6 months.  This was a phone call to verify.

Automated message to say thank you for opening up an account with Synchrony Bank for a purchase at Lenscrafters.  Automated message actually reconfirmed the information that I had.  This was a legitimate number.

It was a call from Synchrony Bank and Discount Tires to explain the terms of the credit card I opened to get new tires. It just explained terms and said to pay off the promotional 0% you might need to make more than the minimum payment. No personal information was asked.

Legitimate call from GE Capital regarding some wood flooring I purchased from Lumber Liquidators.  

NOT A SCAM. I missed the call and called back from the same number.  They never asked for personal details except to press 1 to confirm that I am me (they provided my name).  I purchased a mattress at Sleep Country this past week with 0% financing, and this was just a welome call with details about the purchase, financing and payment information.  Totally legitimate.

I just bought tires at discount tires. I pressed one and the automated message gave me all the info about my purchase. It did not ask for any info. This is NOT a scam.

I received a call on my cell phone number yesterday, 1.26.15. It was hard to make out who was calling. It sounded like someone was calling from Spherion Bank?

Caller ID said "unavailable" which prompts me to NOT answer .  'twas an automated female voice the said my name and was calling from Syncrony Bank regarding my recent purchase involving a CARCARe ONe account. I just bought some new tires from a tire store 3 days ago and put the purchase on a 6 month no interest account so looked at the invoice and LO and BEHOLD it said CARCAREONE on it so then I called the number back and got another automated message thanking me for calling back and detailed the 6 month no interest plan regarding interest and minimum payments etc. She also mentioned the amount of the purchase and mentioned if I needed more help to press a key on my phone and if not Goodbye so I hung up. The call is legit..............at least mine was.
This bank obviously handle conditional sales contracts for various companies as I've seen other stores in comments also

Not a scam.  I did financing with Synchrony (a division of GE Capital) and they were calling to confirm terms of my account etc. Never asked for personal information.

they called about my recently opened Palm Design account. I have never heard of Palm Design.

Yes got the same call today and yes recently did a purchase at Lenscrafters.

It is probably due to an item that I bought with zero % financing.

Syncrony (sp?) bank calling to verify a credit account I opened at Americas Tire. No worries.
