Caller is Synchrony Bank, former GE Financial. They got my number because I opened a credit line with Discount Tire some days ago. Once I selected the language they linked my phone number with the name on the record and asked me if I was that person. After confirm that, the automated system explained me a lot of things about the credit card and provided me a phone number just in case I have any question and or doubt.

No its definitely a scam, this number called claiming to be sychrony bank who actually works with amazon card holders & this is most definitely not their number. These automated systems are set up to call people as different banks. it's not real don't answer.

Legit call from a company holding a "12-month same as cash" account I opened to purchase a new road bicycle.  The call was a little odd because it asks you to call them back at this number, but once i did i only had to enter my phone number (which they clearly already knew) and then it recounted to me the details of my purchase as well as terms, etc. Legit.
