This is a call from Synchrony bank. Here's a secret. Change your number. Get a Google number. Let them call that instead, that way  you'll have a running record of the their excessive harassment. Can't pay in full? Offer 15 to 20% of your balance while you are still solvent and considering bankruptcy. They might sue you, yes. Let them. You can still offer them the same settlement terms at conference/ trial.  Hey. If you can't pay you can't pay. 8 Years of low wages/ barely part-time work? Still- the banks giving away credit like water. They know you'll need them to fill in the blanks of your life: clothes, food, car repairs. etc. I say [***] them, too bad, so sad.

I don't care who you are, 21 calls per day will cost you big time in court!!

A continuation of this type of call? You can always file a FTC report or threaten to do so first with them. It does work.

Synchrony bank collections

I am getting phone calls from these dirt bags 8-10 x a day,i blocked um.

They call me ten times a day, blocked um

Been getting calls 2 or 3 times a day. Ask me for my account# which don't have anything to do with and my ss# The name they gave me was Spanish and not even close to my name. Told them they have a wrong number have them blocked now.

call is a robo call when i called back. the prompts as for card number account number or SSN, and since i dont know who this company is, that seems sketch. This is a red flag for me, Will see what they have to say.

Synchrony pulls some shady moves on occasion, so get the F off your high horse. Never had an issue with them? Good for you, "moron." Not everybody is so lucky.

called about a 7% government discount assed by Congress Wanted the acount number for AEP and Coloumbia gas without thought I gave them to her Sounded fishy  so I hung up

Shows up as Unavailable/Unknown. It's Synchrony Bank.  The Do Not Call list does not cover Robo Calls.

Calls about 3 times a day. I don't answer and they never leave any messages. Says "unknown" for location.

Really you have to call people morons when there is no one there on the other end.  They may owe money but just maybe they forgot to send in the payment. I think you are very rude   It's no a debt collector it's on a credit card  used for medical purposes.

Got a call from this number this morning. Two things.  1) I have Synchrony Bank for my CareCredit. I was late on a layment a couple of years back (my own fault) and when I answered their call they direcred me to pay it either online or call through their payment center. They did NOT ask for personal information at any point.  The calls stopped immediately.  2) This number today came up on my phone as "Suspected Spam" with an alarm symbol, whichbis what prompted me to look it up here today.  Take that for what it is worth but if you have any debt with Synchrony go look at your online account or call them yourself to follow up and double check that you havent missed something, which is what i will be doing just in case. Otherwise... Maybe it is just safer not to answer this number.  I have no advise for those of you who do not have a card with them.  Sorry and good luck.

Has called me several times a day for the past week. The message said it is Synchrony Bank. I called the number back and a girl answered (sounding like she was woken up by my call) saying Hello..  Hello.. then said, "Can you give me your social security number so I can pull up your account." I said, NO.. I can't!" I think hung up. She sounded Asian.

Dont listen to this guy, any phone calls from this number is a scam. They are phishing for information, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING !

I think you just nailed it.  Scammers are using a legitimate company's name to phish.
