    This number is answered up by a debt collection company that collects debts for MTE Financial, who owns several online payday loan websites such as linksnotallowed.quickest-cash-advancelinksnotallowed. This one in particular is called CFS Investigations. They use illegal collection tactics such as telling your relatives that they "have obtained a warrant for 'your' arrest on charges of Bank Fraud in 'your county & state' and 'you' can prevent incarceration if 'you' pay a $1000 BOND". They don't usually call you but call your extended relatives instead. They have been sued by VA, TX, OK and CA. They have multiple collection agency names that usually end up out of GA or NY. File an immediate complaint online with your State's AG office or Financial Division.

    This number is answered by a debt collection company that collects debts for MTE Financial.  MTE Financial owns several online payday loan websites such as quickest-cash-advance and MANY others. They use illegal collection tactics such as repeatedly calling your extended relatives that they "have obtained a warrant for 'your' arrest on charges of Bank Fraud in 'your county & state' and 'you' can prevent incarceration if 'you' pay a $1000 BOND" or something to that effect. This is total crap!!!  They don't usually call you but call your extended relatives instead. They have been sued by VA, TX, OK and CA. They have multiple collection agency names that usually end up out of GA or NY. File an immediate complaint online with your State's AG office or Financial Division.

    If you get a call from these people, ask for their name and address.  By law, it is your right to demand a  'Validation of the Debt', which is required "pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 (b)" they will claim they don't have to provide it because they 'are not a collection agency but a mediation group instead', which is untrue.  Anyone that contacts you demanding payment for a debt, is a debt collection.  Below are the Vadlidation requirements:

    Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 (b)
    This is NOT a request for “verification” or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you.

    Please provide me with the following:

    # What the money you say I owe is for;
    # Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe;
    # Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe;
    # Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable;
    # Identify the original creditor;
    # Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account
    # Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state
    # Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent

    A Cease & Desist letter will not work with these people.  When this one stops calling, another fly-by-night collection agency will start.  They game is the same, threatening you with a [***] 'warrant for your arrest on bank fraud charges'.  This is a scam.  Read online about MTE Financial.  Do not pay them a dime, and file an online complaint with your state AG's office.  They are not operating within the law and like most of the State lawsuits against them (VA, TX, OK, CA and others) they probably don't have a license to operate in your state and secondly, MTE charged you interest rates higher than almost any state's max for a pay-day loan, therefore, your contract is null and void and unenforceable in court.  That's why they use nasty phone calls to collect and they won't pursue actual court action as they would lose due to the above, not only their illegal collection tactics.

    Pissed!!
    I can't believe I got scammed!  They called me and actually read an avidavit to me that I was being sued and the paperwork was fixing to be served by the Sheriff's office.  I thought it was a loan I have currently been paying on.  I didn't want anything bad to happen so I paid!  I got to thinking about it and checked further into it.  I went back on my bank statements and I hadn't missed a payment for the company I thought they were calling on.  The guys name was Michael Carter.  He sounded so legit.  Very calm.  JERK!!!!  I filed a claim with my bank.  HOPEFULLY they will reiumburse me but I have to wait 10 days for them to investigate.  If they don't find it fraud then I will have to get an attorney and pursue.  Thanks to this company I was short on bills this month just to pay this debt!!!  How can these [***] sleep at night doing this [***]!  I hope they are caught and rot in prison!

    if we were a fraudulent company or entity we wouldn't be located in the US and we wouldn't need to call you because we already have all your information SSN, address, phone number, bank account info etc. Come on guys stop and think, a bank robber doesn't call the bank ahead of time and say "we'll be there in ten minutes"....Joe Blow cannot just obtain the type of information we have on each of you....we're calling you because you owe our client for fraudulent activity on a "pay day loan" and either you or someone on your behalf took it out. People that knowingly steal and defraud financial institutions are not people that you can provide private information to because they are capable of anything. We are not going to put any of our employees, arbitrators, clerks and paralegals at risk. We do the work that has to be done to keep financial institutions solvent. Don't pay and deal with the ramifications that are prescribe by law. We don't make the rules we just follow them.

    I received a call from Superior Assets and Recovery on behalf of MTE Financial today. I have had loans out in the past, but have paid them back. I was uneasy about it at first, but now know this could be a scam? They said its about to be passed onto NY state for further action and checking fraud against me? They could only supply me a name of MTE financial not the pay day loan company as they did not know.

    What questions should I ask, is this legit, where can I call or look at to find out if there is such a warrant? They said I was sent 7 letters by mail, I never received one. When I asked them the address they said the correct one, but not the apartment number. This is why I did not get them she said. They also had my email address so why did I not receive any emails??

    Help me. Thanks!

    Well, I got suckered.  They called my parents and got them all worried that I was going to be arrested.  I did walk on a pay day loan 5-6 years ago.  The company name is CFS & Associates, Inc also PMI - Process Management, Inc.  4905 Jordan Court, Alpharetta, GA 30004 - the phone number they left with my parents was 855 890 2982 and this Don Mack called me from 202 684 7194.  But they got me by saying they had attached something to my DL and SS and I got scared so I sent them a settlement.  The fact that they contacted my parents got me to do something, my bad, but didn't want my folks being involved in my crap.  Good luck to anyone else who has to deal with these people.  Maybe you can learn from my mistake...

    Oh My God! Are you freaking SERIOUS?! Do you know what the FDCPA is? You're worried about the criminals that work for you being at risk? The only thing they are at risk for is getting thrown in jail with YOUR a**! As far as the statement you made "We don't make the rules, we just follow them". Whose effing rules are you following; a loan sharks? You are not following any rules by threatening to have people arrested! If you brought your sorry a** down to a police station trying to get the cops to go to "Joe Blow's" house to arrest him for an unpaid debt; they'd slap you up the side of your hard head and kick your butt out the front door! I suggest, if you can actually read, to go look up the FDCPA and then re-read your "response" and see how many violations you made just in the paragraph you posted. UGH!

    You didn't receive emails because that would provide an IP address for you to find their sorry a**es. These people are a scam and will say anything and everything to get you to pay them. They are an illegal agency and therefore, are not going to take you to court. If you read the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) you will probably notice that they have violated several parts of it. You can follow this link, the homepage of the website below lists the FDCPA "rules". Print it out and the next time they call you, make them deviate from their script by asking them legit questions; watch how they stammer! They don't know JACK SH**!

    Well if you had our information you wouldnt need to call everyone in our family to try and get a hold of us. You would send a letter to my house (since you have my address) letting me know of the issues you have with me. If you get paid to harass people you must live a very sad life. You are NOT LEGIT you are a SCAMMER out to get peoples money. If you want to get me for check fraud then bring it cause I have NEVER written a check to someone to just turn around and screw them. Oh btw when you are going to call and harass my family and I call you back how about not screaming like a 2 year old and hanging up on me. Case and point!! SCAMMERS!!!!!

Ive gotten calls to my job. The recent stunt was a letter faxed to my job about garnishing my check like they have a court order to do so. I called the number on the fax and spoke with "Mr. Gray" who told me they were pressing charges for a bad check. I dont even write checks anymore. I used a cash advance company I know more than 7 or 8 years ago. I was about to make a payment plan until something told me to wait. Mr. Gray is waiting on me to call back.
