I like picking up these calls when I get them on my corporate phone.. if I am bored and want a few minutes of amusement I will pick up and string them along for as long as I can. I have an app that plays static so I will randomly turn that on especially if they ask for personal information I turn that off and cut off numbers just to annoy the hell out of the person.

Calls multiple times a day then hangs up

This is a Scam :: when you go to the Wells Fargo website and go to Overdraft Protection Services page, it has listed 3 different 877 numbers but none match this number above calling me. A basic search of this number ONLY pulls up scam sites, no Wells Fargo related pages at all. And last - why would this number call me 3 Times within an Hour timeframe on a Sunday!!????? SCAM!

This 877-647-8551 has called me 23 times, about a loan from a payday office that not even in my city. They can't show document of loan. And this loan was supposed to be in 2013??? never give out there real name, and claims to have my info, and there address is a P.O box, Get the Hell out of here, SCAM,

It's not a scam. One of my accounts is overdrawn and I've been meaning to transfer money over to it. I just received a call from this number and didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer. I googled the number and found you guys. Now looking at the number, I should have recognized it before. I worked for WF for 6 years and this is the number to their overdraft recovery department. Yes they will ask for your SSN to verify you aren't scamming THEM. SO NO....NOT A SCAM

There was probably a loan from a PayDay Loan Office that overdrew yours(or someone using your phone number's bank account). They are from WF Overdraft Recovery. Not a scam

This number is legit and not a scam

My account is positive and I still received this call. I ignored it. Seems like a scam to me. You should learn not to assume people are at a negative balance.

They said it was a debit collector

This number has called me about 4 to 5 times a day and I don't answer it because it comes up UNKNOWN NUMBER. They never leave a message,

No, it's not. Who are you?  Because this number just started calling me today and I don't even have a Wells Fargo account.  So it's NOT from WF

I just started receiving calls on my cell today from this number and I do NOT have a WF account and I've had this number for over 10 years.  Has to be a scam.

If they are legit they wouldn't hang up. Remember they called you first.  Scammers

I just got that 877-647-8551. Just happened. She asked for a debt colllection from 2006 for $259. Debt collections do try to get a 12 year old collection. SCAM SCAM SCAM

it just ask me who I and to press 1  on the key pad, I hung up I don't recognize the number

This is a scam I looked at the number that you need to call for overdraft and this number 877-647-8551 not even close to the correct number that you need to call.

Talked to them and offered to help me with over draft fees and payment plans my bank said fraud
