Just called Sprint asking to be removed from this telemarketing list.  Rep gave me a federal "do not call" #: 888-382-1222.  Just removed myself. (She said this # is good for all states but Nevada.)

Hope this works.

It's 10:20 PST here in Portland.  Just got a call from this number and tried to locate if using Google.  I don't usually answer calls if I don't recognize the number.  Maybe those of you who are answering are confirming to OTHER organizations that it is an active number.

PS:  my service is Comcast.

I get this call too, this is about the fifth time, and it is really starting to annoy me. I'm a Sprint customer too...I never answer it, and they never leave a message...

They call, don't leave a message and can't talk to a real person when you return the call.

This # keeps calling me just about every day. If it is a bill collector, then there is no need for it. I pay my bills and they are paid on time! this is too frustrating. My # is on the do not call list, and this doesn't seem to be helping any.

Just got a call I am the secondary line on the account. They asked for my security question info. I told them, tell me what you have and I would very it. She says I cant do that to protect your security, I then respond but you called me.

Do not say the word 'yes' or 'okay' when talking with these people.  One scam is to record the conversation, then change it so that it appears that you agreed to buy something from them.

This is a sprint telemarketer, did not leave a message. I called back and it was a recording asking if I wanted to add a line to my account, or any other services.

If you call them back from your cell you can press 6 for them to not call back........................    We'll see??????????????????

Called number back.  Pressed 6 to notify Sprint I didn't want to add a line.

I just got this call from 877 671 1851.  I did not answer it.  The last time this happened the call was from Sprint my service provider.  Why don't they identify who they are?  A heck of a way to run a buisness.

Called Friday afternoon at 3:33PM.  I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.  I am also a Sprint customer, and my husband just ordered a new phone a few days ago.  I'm not the primary account holder--he is.  My bills are paid through auto-pay, and the credit card is still being charged each month.  My # is registered on the do not call list, AND I do not use my cell phone number for a contact # for purchases or any other business with any companies.

I got a call from this # in April and one on May 5th. The dude was hard to understand, but he said he was from Sprint and wanted to offer me other Sprint services. I'm a Sprint customer. I told him I didn't need any more; but he persisted until I told him adios. What I want to know is why they don't stop the practice if it is Sprint. It seems that many are complaining about it. But as someone sugested, don't say yes or OK, it could be a scam........

Called on my husband's line...we have 2 numbers with Sprint...but his number is not the main one. They asked for me and when my husband asked for verification they turned it around on him and asked to verify my information.

The call had bad reception...funny if they are claiming to be from Sprint...so he hung up. Can't wait to get the iPhone in June!

I just got a call from this number.  The guy asked me if I was ____  (my Mom's name) and I said NO, he asked me again and I said YES just to see if he would still help me...he did.  I thought it was odd that he heard me say NO I was not her & then he asked me again and I said YES.  As soon as I started to ask hin the guestions his reply was "have a nice day" and hung up!  I worked in a call center and that is not a proper closing!  I would not give these people any information!

First time I got the call, but had no idea where it came from.  I just don't answer or return calls that I don't recognize.

I was called 6-26-2009... ignored. Every single unknown/private call has been junk. Once a year or so I screw up and answer - and its always an idiot calling. :)

I don't answer calls I don't reconize either....Sprint has nothing to do with it, you'll get this crap from every carrier. CURE.....Hang up, period, end of conversation...........Screw Them
