Legit chase call
My online access was locked with the same phone number showing to ask me to call back for verification
All I did was entering the info with phone keypad to verified my identity. They just wanna verify a new contact I added for quick pay before sending the money over

I received a call from 312-325-3558, and it instructed i call this number.  the person that left me the message when i received the call spoke really fast, and it seemed kind of shady.  i gave them some info when i called this 877-691-8086 number back, and had them tell me the transaction(s) that needed to be verified.  i later called number on back of my debit card, confirmed that this is Chase Fraud Prevention.  turned out to be legit.

It's a legitimate number. I received the number from my local branch manager directly when I had an issue with my debit card. I called and verified a few charges and they unlocked my card for use again.

Sure it's a legit number, which is why the scammers spoof it on your caller ID. That doesn't make it a legitimate call from that actual number.

This number IS Chase.  I know this because I received a call from a 312 area code asking me to call 877-691-8086.  I did not.  I called the number of the back of my credit card and verified that both of my credit card accounts were fine and had no issues.  The credit card people transferred me over to the banking people because I also have checking and savings accounts.  They asked me what number I was told to call and I repeated the 877-691-8086.  They verified that that number IS CHASE.  It's just not the credit card side of Chase.

Called looking for my husband and there was a problem with his checking account.  We dont have anything to do with Chase.

I also got a call from this number. Have verified with Chase fraud department that this is NOT a Chase number. I've filed a police report and online fraud report. Do not give out any personal information. Chase said to always use the number on the back of your card.

This is a fraud. She called me want to verify my information......the 877-691-8096 calling from unknown but she told me she was calling from Chase!

I hung up and called the number on the back of my debit card... They said it is a fraud. Call the number on the back of your card and find out yourself...

Got a call from this number - claims to be from Chase "fraud prevention".  Background noise sounds like a scammer call center.  Female caller seems to be encountering "computer issues" - wants me to stay on hold. ...... Not likely !

This is a legitimate number for Chase Fraud Prevention. They called me to question a transfer to an external account I created today. They called within hours of me executing the transfer. They knew the details of the transfer and they were able to verify they were Chase by sending a code to the cell phone number they had on file. This number is legit. They just wanted to be sure no one was transferring funds out of my account.

It is Fraud at Chase

As of today is legit. I had wanted to send  a wire from Chase. They called me from the 888-994-5626 number to confirm.  Later I got a call from 877-691-8086.  After looking at this site, I was afraid to call. I called the 888 number. She told me the number above was a bona fide number for Chase fraud, but she offered to put my call through.

This number is a Chase number. I called back a number on the website for Chase Fraud to verify all was good and she could see all the notes.

This is a real Chase Bank fraud prevention department phone number. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean fraudsters won't spoof this number to commit fraud. Because Chase Bank is one of the larger banks in the USA and one of the easier banks for moving money around, spoofing this number gives fraudsters access to high value targets with a very good cover story that matches the phone number. BE ALERT, BE AWARE. IF IN DOUBT, OPT FOR GOING TO YOUR LOCAL BANK BRANCH TO SORT OUT EVERYTHING.

The message was legit, though like many others I was skeptical. I called Chase and had them transfer me to fraud prevention. In my case it was because I had initiated a transfer to my Chase account from another bank and the other bank needed me to verify my identity before they'd let it go through.
When in doubt, call your bank directly and have them route you correctly.  I still wouldn't call this number because the message they left sounded _that_ sketchy!

This is NOT a fraud number. I made a large wire transfer and the fraud department was confirming the transfer was legit. I appreciate the call. I did call the number on my card and they confirmed it was really them. Then they transferred me to the Fraud Prevention Dept where I confirmed the wire. It's always good to be sure.
