This is from a Law Office of L. Ryan Copeland; they are based in upstate New York somewhere. Probably some bottom feeder company calling itself a "Law Office".

i got a call saying they are a law office they are not they are a bill collector!!!!!!!!!!!

They also call me from 7169894895 and some times it comes up private on my phone too. so jot this number down, this is their local number

I was contacted by this office 8/19 over an unpaid something or another. I aagreed to a pay plan and said ok to $100, they charged it at a different time than agreed on and on my bank statement it came up GIOVE LAW. THIS IS A SCAM, GOOGLE GIOVE. I have filed a FTC complaint and also am putting together a lawsuit against these people. Dont pay them a dime, they are telemarketing [***] with no authority. They pretend to be in court and this and that, they are scum bag idiots.

They call me from 1-716-989-4895. They are so rude. Some guy Named Anthony and there was a girl. I found out they make commission on what they can collect from people. Whose to say they are even legite. They are very rude and hateful and then expect you to work with them. The debt they have for me is real, however when I asked for information on where to send payment they inform me that it has to be done through my bank account. I inform them that I don't have one and so they tell me that I am refusing to pay my debt.

Just so you know the secondary # you have is attached to Giove Law, which in fact has a lot of info out there on them. They are a SCAM!!! I was told to report this to the FCC, so they could pursue the matter further. I found this tidbit on creditreportproblems.com:

I filed a complaint with the FCC about these people. I notified them that Giove Law and Copeland Law Offices are one in the same. These people have at least a dozen aliases!! As you said they are a SCAM!!! DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME!!! Let me know about your court case.

I received a message last Wednesday from a John from the Law Office of L. Ryan Copeland wanting me to return his phone call regarding a person that supposedly used my name as a reference and also left a case #.  I returned his phone call today and asked what this is in regards too.  He asked if I knew this person and that this person had me listed as a reference.  I said that I do not know this person and what information do you have listed that would tie me to this person?  Did I work with them at one time?  He said no, that my name and phone number were listed.  I stated that it seemed unusual and he said that other references this person had listed didn't know this person either.  So, I got off the phone and started googling this person's name and looked at the person's name on the State court site search and found it quite ironic that the person that I was suppose to know had the exact same address as I did years ago...sounds like a complete scam according to what I have been reading.

ya they told us to pay our we will have to go to court next mounth       but now that we found out about these people from you guys   "thank you so much"   we are not doin any thing for them

I have received calls and because I didn't recognize phone numbers (they have called on both numbers mentioned above) I have not called them back,  same verbiage as mentioned above.  Thank you for posting information - I will continue to ignore calls and delete voicemails.

So glad you all posted they are a scam. Dirtbags. I, too, will be ignoring their calls and deleting their voicemails. Gotta love the internet to be able to search these scum and learn about them.

i know the  Copeland Law Office. You people do not know what you are talking about. It is a legitimate law firm, you people just don't want to pay your bills. Did anybody teach you how to check your credit report, especially when dealing with debt you are being called about? Enjoy not being able to get a really good job or a car or a house because your credit is deplorable and you are irresponsible. Riley, you a are a moron. Vorpal Desilijic if they r a legitimate law firm then way are they telling me that I owe them money when this debt has been paid in full now for 6 months and I have the proof too.  It even is paid in full on my credit report too.  When I told this to them they got very loud and rude with me about it.  Calling me a lair and that they were going to see me in court.  I was more then willing to fax them my bank statement with the proof and my receipt but he wanted nothing of it.  This man keeps calling me and when I tell him I will fax my bank statement to him.  He either get very loud with me or hangs up the phone.  Can you answer this question for me?
