they have called my cell EVERY day for the last few weeks and I never answer it..........

After, 20 calls, I finally called and it's SEARS trying to sell an extended warranty.

I like my new phone I block that number.

Appears things have changed very recently at Sears.  I answered this number tonight and was offered an extended warranty on a microwave I bought at Sears a couple months ago.  This new warranty deal they have now covers wear and tear, parts and labour for repairs, but it also now includes a "lemon policy" which guarantees that if there are recurring problems, they will replace the old machine with a brand new one.  If you don't ever use the warranty, after 3 years they refund you 98% of the warranty price by giving you coupons (worth 98% of what you paid) that are redeemable on anything you want at Sears.  Something I rather liked was they are dating my extended warranty for 3 years from today, not 3 years from when I purchased my microwave and when we asked, they said yes, we would be allowed to put this same warranty on a lawn mower we bought a year ago.  The entire conversation was much more casual and friendly than the usual extended warranty convo with Sears, enough so that I came searching here for their phone number to be certain that it really was Sears that I talked to.  Seems so.  Now I'm wondering if maybe Sears has subcontracted a new company to offer up this new line of extended warranties.

It is Sears Canada period,  they are calling as you have had a service plan with them, yes it is annoying I gave them an ear full when they called and told them they have to remove my name as my service contract has expired and I have no further dealings with them.

Sad practices for a Canadian company if they were to leave a message it would be easier to clear it up but with all the annoying phone calls we just never answer if we do not recognize the number.  Call Display should be free or the telco's should allow call blocking for free

This number has called me repeatedly, no one there, several times this month. Today they rang my dad, too, and told him it was a legal matter and my case number. I called them back, with that case number, but they wouldn't provide details without me authenticating myself. I told them to send me a letter, as I did not wish to participate in her phone scam. she said under title 15, she could not provide more info without authentication. I told her again I would not authenticate on the phone. I wonder what will happen next!

877-889-2024 called me three times a day when I was not home for the last few days. Today I phone this # back and found that it is Sears Canada. Must be some kind of sales call, so blocked the #.

It is the Sears warranty department trying to sell you an extended warranty on something you bought from Sears. Annoying, non stop calls- just call once and leave a message-if I don't call you back I"M NOT INTERESTED!! Like I needed another reason to dislike Sears......

I have calls from this number on Oct. 05, 05, and 06. Its a pain in the butt! Please nail this yahoo!

Number is from Sears regarding putting more warranty on any appliances you may have had .  According to the lady I spoke to today they are unable to leave a message. Yet they do not answer when you say hello...annoying.
