They have been calling me several times a day. I finally decided to hang on today and it is Sears. They are offering an extended warranty on our appliances. I have asked not to be called anymore

Thanks for the previous posts on this number, otherwise it would be difficult or impossible to trace.  Ironically, the compact fridge I recently purchased from Sears was a lemon and I had to get warranty service.  But would I purchase extended warranty coverage?  No!

Just called 1-800-361-6665 and requested to be removed from their call list.  Simple as that.

11 calls from these [***] in 3 days.  I answered it 3 times...each time nothing but dead air. SO IRRITATING!

It's Sears phoning about a warranty on something you bought there.  It's an auto dialer and they don't leave a message.  I phoned them a couple of weeks ago and was assured that they would take me off the call list within 72 hours.  That was two weeks ago and they still phone here twice a day.  If they phone tonight during the hockey game I may have to get nasty ...

This number has called me numerous times and when answered, there's a long pause and then it goes dead, any idea's coz it's just ticking me off?

Just had a call from them. Didn't answer, but I called the number back and it said "Hello, you have reached Sears Canada, for service in english, press 1, bhah, blah, blah.

I just called the number.  It was a recording that said you ahve reached Sears Canada.

Calls everyday, who is it and why?

Simple call to Sears solves the problem. 1-877-889-2024 is Sears Canada, Extended Warranty or Service Contract Department calling to either offer or renew a service contract on electric appliances or electronics you purchased from Sears.  To contact them directly call 1-800-361-6665, press 2 and ask to be removed from the call list. Haven't had another call from that number. Receive all communication via mail as per my request.

I receive two to three calls every day from this number since a couple weeks now. It is annoying!!!!
The call just drop as soon as I answer. Double annoying!!! I can not even release my frustration!!!!

They called me 4 times in 3 days and only rang once each time. So I called back. It was Sears Canada saying they were trying to inform me my warranty was about to expire on my fridge. Needless to say, they won't be calling again.

The same people have called me for the past few weeks, sometimes five times in one day! Every time I pick up the phone there is no one there. So, I called the number back and apparantly it is Sears Canada. Very strange.

Has called me more than twenty times in the last 15 alone.  I dont know who it is but if it is a telemarketer machine, press # six times before hanging up, doing so apparantly messes the machine up.

I just got a call from this number and he said the warrenty on my dishwasher purchased at Sears about  a year ago was about to run out. He inquired as to whether or not I'd like to get two more years of warrenty for over 100 bucks.  I said I don't give visa or MC numbers out over the phone, especially to unknown/unverified callers, and he suggested I can call Sears at 1800-361-6665 to extend the warranty.

received 2 calls from this number.  I did not answer - and there was no message left.  I called the number back and got SEARS Canada Protection agency.  It was a recording.  It said that a representative was trying to contact me and that they would try again at another time.  Apparently I bought something at Sears (I don't remember) and the warranties running out.

Hey people, I have no idea why when you all call that number back that you hear nothing. I just called it and they say, "Thanks for calling Sears Canada".

We don't normally answer any calls from numbers starting 1-800 (888 or 877) but this person was persistent, sometimes calling 6 times a day. I finally bit the bullet and answered just to see who it was.
It was Sears in regards to an soon to expire warranty on our appliances. I told him I would never buy appliances from Sears again because the warranty we bought protected them and not us. In the event an appliance is a total lemon, they will just keep fixing it instead of replacing it like they used to do years ago.
I could go on and on but suffice to say, I'm done with Sears.
