- DeanoI also got stung with texts from this company and my service provider (O2) was not helpfull in any way. They gave me an 0845 number to call (more charges with the 0845 number) and after listening to the automated messages I finally got a number to call them for a refund. If you call 01179 118350 (be persistant as sometimes it goes to a T Mobile voicemail) they will ask you for your mobile number and they will give you a refund. I was only "stung" once for £1.50 but they are going to send me £5 for the inconvenience (so they say).
They could not tell me how I got on their list and I am certain that I have never subscribed but I believe they just buy numbers and stick your number in their database, they then send you a free message telling you "you are subscribed to ............., text stop to 88222 to opt out.
Opt out at that point as even if you ignore the text, the next one you are sent (normally the day after)will cost £1.50 and so on and so on!!- Caller: The compnay name was inaudible

- Barry MELOY88222 keeps texting my wifes telephone number which I pay for as I have THREE mobile telephones on my contract. My wife is concerned as the message reads that "YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO THIS SERVICE". My wife panics with this sort of contact due to prvious incidents which turned out to be genuinely nasty and violent.

- lisa replies to niallthanks for your reply-i've had a look abut dont recognise any that i would have readily given my details to. My best guess is that my phone provider it's self has passed it on.
My husband spoke to orange because the contract is in his name. They said to reply with stop all, which triggered another 6 messages coming through. They gave an 0845 number to ring on Monday, they should tell me where they got the number from and offer to re-emburse but i'm not holding my breath. Think i may ring orange back and demand that my number gets changed. - lisa replies to craigSeems starnge that we all have the same problem and the same mobile phone provider dont you think?
- craig| 1 replyRing the number now that they gave you, you can stop the message on the 0845 number out of office hours. Since i have done this all is well and peacefull in our household

- RichardI had had previous text but didnt take any notice as i thought that when you rang the quoted number you would land yourself with a charge but then tonight have had 9 texts from that number have rung orange but they said that they cant stop them and I had to send STOP ALL (in capitals) have done that and also put in a formal complaint with http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/output/default.aspx
Message to Graham check your last and next bill you will pay a charge of £1.50 I was quite shocked to find it on my bill for an unsolicited service.- Caller: 88222

- sooz replies to RichardI got 6 of these messages tonight saying freemsg and something about toptones. Have not replied stop in case that triggers more. I am on vodafone using blackberry. Security firewall now enabled to block sms messages that are not from my contacts, this has blocked 3 more. Weird that they all came today and I definitely haven't entered any comps. Will call the helpline and vodafone to find out what to do. Its ridiculous. Only comps I ever enter are itv ones. That worries me as they've had problems in the past with texts and calls for comps.
