Immediately after getting a very troubling call marked "Private" from someone claiming to be giving me a courtesy call re: my name connected with fradulent credit card usage & that the police would soon be contacting me, I got a call from this phone number. I did not answer, no message was left. Since I've never received any calls on my cell from people/companies I don't know, and since one followed the other, had to be connected. Very troubling.

I used to get these calls too. Finally I learned that if you push the pound key and the number 2 key on your phone, it sends your phone number to the "Do not call list" for that company. Try it soon as you answer, press #-2. You can use it any time, on any harassing call.

Calling every day and nothing is said. Reporting it to the BBB and my State Attorney General.

Received calls simultaneously from 888-246-5659 on my personal cell phone number and my house phone number.  The cell phone call sounded like a Filipino woman who called me John, and the house phone call was from an Indian accented man asking for my wife, Donna.  Both were offering government grant money.  The man claimed that my wife had filled out an online application (not true).  I have previously received several calls from this number that I did not answer, and several calls from 877-590-3300 (also unanswered).  The 877 number has a similar string about free money.  This smells like a big time scam to try to rip off desperate people counting on Obama’s bailout money!

Called me and left no message. First sign of unprofessionalism and scams. It was 8:45am in the morning on a Saturday. I called back a couple of minutes later, and a female started to try to pronounce my name. I said who the [***] is this? She, somewhat taken aback, started to say something about a government grant. I said I don't give a [***] who she's with, but IT'S 8:45 IN THE [***] MORNING ON A SATURDAY. I told her if they ever called back I would trace them back to wherever the [***] they were and stab them with an ice pick. She seemed somewhat speechless and she tried to come back and mumble something else. I simply hung up and tried to go back to sleep. 8:45 am on a Saturday. These scams don't quit and they make me mad as hell. EVERY state law that I know of says companies can't call before 9am and after 9pm, much less weekends. I hope they stay poor for life. Crime doesn't pay. GO to school and get a job or something. Sheesh.

i received a call from this number today.they said they were trying to give me free info. on gov't grant funding.i thought that was quite odd especially after i had asked if they were a gov't agency and the guy said,no.if i wanted a grant all i would have to do is submit my info on the gov't grant website.he asked for my credit card number and i told him that i didn't have a bank account and if i could mail the shipping cost and he told me that i couldn't do that.sorry but obvious scam.don't give these [***] any of ur personal info.

So i just received a call from this # and they hung up right when i said hello. this is the 4th day straight. I could hear noises in the background so i knew someone was listening. I called the # back and the guy hung up on me. I called back 6 times and the guy hung up on me every time. Finally on the 7th call he said "im looking for (insert name here)" i replied stop calling my number and hanging up, if you want to sell me something then lets hear it... He hung up again... getting really sick of this

EVERY morning, 9:00AM Sharp.  These people call me and never leave a message.  You would think that after a month of calling my number with no answer they would get the clue and stop calling.  Losers.

I got the same phone number calling me, I answer and all I hear is a telephone ring then nothing so I called it back and got a guy selling grants, I told him that if they call again I would call the police and boy he said I'll take you off our list very fast. Dumb guy.

Called back...long "elevator music" on hold.  When the person finally answered, he said (very broken english) that he was from the Free Government Money initiative....when I told him I was recording the call and that he had violated the Do Not Call listing...he hung up.

Called the same number from a different phone (other than what they had called) and got an operator IMEADITATELY!!!  She told me that they were following up on an email request for government grant money!   Try it..it works...and they seem to have no regard for the Do Not Call list...In my industry, that is a $38,000 fine...glad I record everything!

i have received numerous calls from them and have asked them to stop. they sat they are grants secrets.

I just filed a police report. We called back *67 asked who they were and with out me telling them they knew my name address and ect info about me wtf

+ they have been calling me for 5+ months every time i tell this Brian is has a indian accent...probably iran ect idk but i tell him everytime do not call everytime he calls again finally when we called *67 i had the police with me they are doing a investigation...hope i can let you guys know something.

These people call but leave no message. I too do not answer a call from whom I do not recognize. Sometimes 2x per day! Aggravating! I am on the do not call list also like others. They prob got # from some form I filled out on internet. Should be illegal.

call almost every day ,disconnects on the answering  machine but hangs up when we answer. They need to quit this harassment.caller

I received this call twice this morning nad twice yesterday.  I asked to be removed from thier call list yesterday.  As you can see that did no good.
I do have a name - Joyce Glassing from a Free grant find.  I have been on  the national do not call registry so I will report it with them.

I got a call from this number, I answered it and as soon as I said hello there was an automated voice that said "we're sorry." Then it hung up. How odd.

Just got a call from this number, trying to tell me I had qualified for free government money & then asked what I would be spending it on, home, college, business, I interupted & asked where did you get my phone number, they said I had filled out an application, when I told them I didn't they hung up on me.  I called back and told them I didn't fill out any application online & to take my number off there calling list, they hung up on me again.  What do I do to get them to quit?

THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING ME FOR THE LAST 2 DAYS. THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WHEN I TRIED TO CALL THEM BACK THE RECORDING SAID HOLD AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME. THEY HAVE CALLED ME AT LEAST 6 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 DAYS. HOW ANNOYING!!!!
